Yeah, they are dolls but I'll always calll em' movie collectables-cause that way I can look myself in the mirror. I read his email 3x and don't believe it to be rude at all-they are called Customer Service for a reason. They are there to receive his complaints. If they where hear to respond I'd bet this would be on the lower end of the scale of rudness that they receive.

I worked in Customer Services all my life before my accident and that email was funny. Trust me, when the CS rep first read that they will have laughed their socks off, printed it off to show everyone else and then arranged a professional polite reply to the customer.
x:D

Expensive or not, they are still dolls. If this guy is bothered by the "pace" of a doll line than maybe he needs to reevaluate his priorities. So what, the line moves slowly. I don't really feel that customer service reps should have to take rude complaints from customers. Yeah, they don't have to do the job but they have to make money somehow. I am sure you wouldn't enjoy fielding needless abrasive nerd complaints all day. :D

i think he embarassed himself to world without having all of our affirmations confirm it. :lol :lol :lol

cs must have had a good chuckle but i'm sure they realize collectors are a bit eccentric. :monkey3

Embarass myself? To you? Not hardly. I could care less what you and some of the other people in this thread think. I posted the response to let others know that more figs were on the way. I come to this forum to see other collecters collections, and some of the awesome paint jobs that the gifted artist on this site do. I do apologize to others on here for wasting time with this post going on, i'm trying to let it die, but when smart assed stuff keeps getting posted like "he embarassed himself" I have to respond.

WIth much hanging of the head, I would like to apologize to the Sideshow Freaks forum. Guess I felt like I was being attacked by a couple of people and went on the defensive, just got to let it roll of my back. I appreciate that some understood what I was trying to say and am sorry that others find my personality abrasive. Hope I have not worn my welcome out. Looking forward to the day that I have the whole fellowship, in 2025.

As I said in my post first - it's not embarrassing. SSC gets far, far, far more bizarre emails and calls to customer service every day.

And giving feedback, as long as it's not a rant and abusive, can be effective if they think enough people agree.

Hey, nothing to apologise for at all - I think some people on here gave you a hard time, needlessly IMHO - as you said, all you were trying to do was inform. And to be honest the way some people reacted to the paint job on the "doll" Faramir makes your comments pale into insignificance.... :)

relax guy. i didn't care that customer service posted your demand in the break room for a laugh.     demanding a line be produced faster to a customer service person is a bit odd, but we all are a bit daft to be collecting this unique stuff, aren't we? :lol i'm sure your demand was immediately tended to.

i personally have been waiting for several sw characters that we haven't seen. we discuss it here and i face opposing opinions but i know those aren't personally directed towards me...or are they? :rotfl criticism is part of posting in a public forum. you need to develop a thicker skin to hang around here with the freaks. :D they don't pull any punches here for sure.

One other thing to consider as well is that many here have been treated like gold by the SSC customer service staff, so we will be a little defensive about them.

So what you're saying is that I should keep my campaign for a 1/4 PF Selene alive. I wasn't sure my 50 plus CS inquiries per day were doing any good. :monkey3 :lol

They're reply basically isn't saying much. I guess the line is officially still alive. Would like a Gandalf or Ringwraith.
