This guy.

This is why I love this forum and this hobby....a place free of judgement when it comes to or obsession for these toys, not a lot of people I can relate to outside of here, I'm 33 btw a bit younger but I'm still by most standards "too old to be playing with toys"

:\

It's coming along nicely.

I hope you're enjoying the build as much or more then the result, if that makes sense.

Thanks! I totally know what you mean. :)

The journey is what it's all about. Kinda over the display case, but it's been an experience. :)

That's why you don't play with them; you collect and display them. :lol

But no seriously, you're never "too old" for anything. There's no specific age where you have to forget everything you ever liked or once liked and find an entirely new set of interests. That's not the definition of "growing up" and maturing. You should never change the things that make you who you are. One shouldn't have to require approval nor apologize for the things that make them, them; provided it doesn't harm nor degrade anyone. You don't need someone else's permission to be interested in what you are interested in. You like what you like, so own it. :)

That just doesn't apply to collecting collectibles; it applies with any particular interest that you have. I adamantly believe that in order for anyone else to accept and be comfortable with you, you first have to accept and be comfortable with yourself.

^ Totally agree.....and I think he agrees. I think he was just trying to be funny :)

Thanks Nat and DA.

2nd coat on main part [done], and painted 75% of the lid. Still have to do the doors, but that may come later, have something I want to try with them.

*Just* about ready to move back to the fun part, the diorama construction again.

SO many ideas flying around in this pea-brain of mine. :idea Some I know how to pull off, and some I'm still chewing on. :duh
