Yeah, 2 coats is getting it done. Just seems like forever
That's why you don't play with them; you collect and display them.
But no seriously, you're never "too old" for anything. There's no specific age where you have to forget everything you ever liked or once liked and find an entirely new set of interests. That's not the definition of "growing up" and maturing. You should never change the things that make you who you are. One shouldn't have to require approval nor apologize for the things that make them, them; provided it doesn't harm nor degrade anyone. You don't need someone else's permission to be interested in what you are interested in. You like what you like, so own it.
That just doesn't apply to collecting collectibles; it applies with any particular interest that you have. I adamantly believe that in order for anyone else to accept and be comfortable with you, you first have to accept and be comfortable with yourself.
We, as men especially, are told that as we grow up, it's time to put away childish things. So we start off with our toys, then hit the teenage years where we have to put away those things to be, "cool." In our teens it's all about image. We all worry too much about what others think about us or say about us. So we go from there, being who we think we should be and grow up from there. Then we reach the time in our life, (whatever age it may be) where we just don't care what others think or say. We know who we are now and we're comfortable with that. It's not that we have a second childhood, we just cut our childhoods short in the first place. So now we're adults and we go back and buy our own toys. Only now they cost more, but are much more enjoyable.

I don't know if you've thought about using the glass sides for some aerial poses with the figures. It would increase both the dynamics of the shot as well as floor space. Just a thought. Keep up the great work.

Looks like Hulk is set to smash Loki right through the bottom of your display case.
