Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

A hi building sniper spot 4 hawkeye would suit him if decide to go that way again great work!

Thanks!! Dynamic stands are def in the works. :)

Not sure if I can pull off a ledge or anything for HE and make it look right. There's only 5-6" clearance from Hulk's hands......I'm still chewing on that one, but I have an idea I'm working on.

Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

Got a battle damaged Mk VII? You could do the Hulk catching Stark on the side of the building after the nuke redirection. Think about using acrylic for attaching stuff to the sides for support. It's clear, cheap, and can be cut to order. You have a myriad of options, let your imagination run wild!

Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

So my nephew and his new wife [who are 23-24] were over last night, and my wife told Tyler "ask uncle Craig about his project..."

So he does, and I'm like apprehensive not knowing if they will get it or not, or I'll get the "Nerd!" response....

THEY LOVED IT!!! :yess: :blissy :rock

I guessed that my nephew would, but my new niece-in-law was the one who really appreciated it the most, to my surprise. "Wow, these are amazing! I bet they cost what $200-300 a piece?" [good guess :)] "Well, I can see why.....these are art-work"

:yess: They really encouraged me. They were impressed with my woodwork skilz too :)

Only problem is she asked if Thor came in a 1:1 version. Not sure why? :dunno

Yeah, esp the first truck one was a huge inspiration to start this :) Both are well done.

I *might* have a different vehicle I'm working on ;)

[but thanks]

Re: Build progress on my custom Avengers Diorama

Thanks :). Debris will sell the overall look. Still a bit of paintwork on it for details etc. will have broken windshield and so forth. Happy accident how the paint cracked and made it look like door leather is torn.
