So. I did watch. It's a perfectly fine show for little girls.
It's not for me. And I just don't get what you guys see in it. It doesn't entertain me as a male, and all that friendship **** is just...well...like Darkbooty (that's who he will always be to me) said "Ugh..UGH."
I like my cartoons, but if i'm going to watch cartoons, to give me something I like in my range of interests. Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Regular Show are not made for kids, but rather, kids in mind. They are kids shows, but the writers created this program for everyone. They included many adult references, and yadada yada whatever, but more importantly, their stories, for the most part, are fairly mature, and have an edge on them that a child may or may not get. Gravity Falls is a pro at this, allowing for some very unique takes on relationships, and finding one's self, without being too melodramatic.
With MLP, I just don't see the adult humor. Other then that Star Wars parody I guess....but it's been done before. Or anything that works for me as an adult. They want to be friends and they're not powerful without friends. Alright...and the bad guy just makes things craaaazy. I would've liked it more if the dude murdered the little ponies. That's more up my ally. .
And I REALLY don't understand the clopper thing. That **** is gross.
