Very cool, congrats Tom! thanks for sharing those.

Amazing!! He simply looks fantastic!! I'm not even gonna think about leaving my house tomorrow so I can be home to get him. Is the lightsaber that much more brighter than Vaders?

JB I tried to warn ya.:monkey3

The best headsculpt yet in the SW line. Fantastic.

The only negative is the ragged looking hood. I'd definitely display it down. I'm surprised that SS didn't include a wire in there to form/pose it realistically. It just looks scraggly.

I expected the frayed and wrinkled raggedy look to his clothes as he has been living as a hermit in the desert for years, and even the promo pics showed the wrinkles. I would rather display the hood down and don't mind the lack of a wire--I actually prefer it this way, as it hangs loose much more naturally than 12" Luke's wired hood.

Now the bad news... Vader is in my office and Obi-Wan is at home, so I won't be posting pics of the two of them together.

The lightsaber fits into the hand at just a slight angle, but I can live with it. I love this piece and am extremely happy with it!

Set this guy up along with Vader and you have something truly amazing...

Thanks for all the pics Tom.

You might have missed it above is the lightsaber as bright as it appears?

The pics really make the lightsaber look brighter than it actually is. It is definitely bright, and I would say that the effect is more successful here than with Vader, but the color of the plastic here is lighter/brighter and more conductive of the light being passed through it than with the red version. The glow does seem to spread through the entire saber in a way that Vader's doesn't quite achieve, but these shots do make it look brighter than it really does in person.

I believe the robe is supposed to be tattered like that. As Tom said, he had been living in the desert for all those many years.

I love it! Thanks for the pics, Tom!
Ugh. I can't believe I have to wait until Wednesday for mine!

What an awesome figure. Thanks for the pics. I may have to get this one from somewhere...Sigh.

Mine arrived today, and is BY FAR my favorite of the released PF SW pieces. The sculpt is second to none, it is truly a marvel. I prefer the hood the way it is as well, sometimes the clothing on the PFs appears to stiff to begin with, this makes it much more subtle. The saber glows much brighter than Vader's, and is a more consistent light as well. I couldn't be happier with this one, it will be VERY hard to top.

The paint it should also be mentioned does not at all suffer from the "Oompa Loompa" syndrome, it has a very nuanced and textured look to it. For those worrying about the eyes, they don't have the "eyeliner" issues that a few of the previous pieces had. Wow, I just love this one! :D

I received #57.
