Why have you not been yet?

Fate steps in and stops me every year. Since the new millennium:

• In 2000, I got engaged and all the funds went to a ring.
• In 2001, was planning to put it on a Credit Card and just bite the bullet but was boxed out by no rooms and no flights
• In 2002, I was making minimum wage and couldn't even afford Exclusives
• In 2003, spent the entire year paying off a Credit Card debt that was crippling as a promise to the wife before getting married
• In 2004, I was getting married and graduating from College and still was making $12.00 an hour so no extra funds.
• In 2005, I just got married and getting our lives together was the focus
• In 2006, we bought our house so no money
• In 2007, my Jeep broke down every way from Sunday destroying my CC fund
• In 2008, my brother was supposed to get married so I spent money towards being the Best Man and it never happened
• In 2009, different house issues and bills depleted our savings so there was no Comic-Con fund.

My wife God Bless her has always tried to budget it in and get us there but Fate still steps in and nails us home....I'll get there though....I'll get there
