you h-omos obviously have no love for the golden age characters of Marvel...This statue in a Display, with Cap, Thor, Hulk, Iron -man will make a great Marvel Super-heroes display with all the characters from the 1966 tv serie....Any true Marvel fans would want a Sub-Mariner statue in his collection ..

Concerning his outfit, we'll I guess being a very confident Hetero I dont have a problem with men in speedos... Namor has been a very important character to the Marvel Universe for over 50 years...But I guess,for some, Iron Spidey is cooler......

I agree with Shai here. People focus more on the "wow-ness" of the sculpt but there is not much regards on the character's history or significance in the Marvel universe. Now that Namor is on the way a Dr Strange and Silver Surfer are a must.

That being said, I reserve judgment on the piece or sideshow's choice until I see the entire statue. Personally I would have prefered Namor the diplomat/illuminati to the speedo! At least its a comiquette, so we don't have to worry about the mixed media being some sort of wood

The exclusive has to be the Trident.

The wings on the ankles are much too small but as a member of the Illuminati, an Invader and the King of Atlantis, no one can deny how important Namor is to the Marvel Universe.

Let's not forget one thing too, he is a classic FF villain and many people were wondering who could go against The Thing if you don't have The Hulk or if you didn't want the Hulk facing off against him.....Andy knew the answer....

It looks like you might be able to face these off as long as the base isn't too tall....

I laugh at both: the big green guy with the miss teen USA tiara and the flaming skull dude in the "queen for a day" throne

I know he is a major character and I will pick him up, my brother who is an classic marvel fan loves Namor, so I think there will be a large enough following for this to sell well.

Namor rocks in the comics! One of my favorite characters, he's all attitude. But this guy won't have much of a place in my collection due to scale, so it'll be a pass for me.
