Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

STONKING looking trio.... looks brilliant... have you used one of the Obitsu bodies as for your day!!!! What the chiffon ada is going... we have not seen the police in our village since 1972 and that was only because the got lost.. and the last crime was when Mrs Beales called a entire village meeting because someone had knocked the head off of one of her roses (later discovered to be a hoax)

Clone Wars Obi, Anakin and Ahsoka will be a fantastic looking trio when you're finished Nate. Clone wars is always going to be one of my favorite series. As for what happened in Ottawa, so sad for the unarmed soldier who was killed and the other 2 soldiers who were run over by a Islamic State militant in Quebec. My mother came to the US from Ireland but her brother/my uncle went to Toronto so I've always had a kinship with Canadians and hope no more terrorism is forthcoming.

Hay Nate, what body are you using for your recent Ahsoka? It's not one of those crazy-expensive Japanese BJD is it?

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

I got my Ahsoka head and am starting on her this weekend. I can't wait to see more of your progress, I love the clothing you put together for her and that saber!

Man this is a f'in PITA paintjob.

WIP - The blue is roughed in, still plenty of touch ups but thought I'd post some progress pics.

very nice! nice sharp blue lines. I know sometimes when you start painting you just want to finish it already but take your time and maybe do another blue coat over those lines. Its all about the layers when it comes to painting and you are off to a great start!

great job again Natedog, I can't wait to see more!

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Scout Trooper Page 20

Well... here she is. I need more practice painting eyes, but otherwise not too bad. Not sure how Im going to pose her yet. Right now I have her with her hand on her hip in a "what are you looking at" pose and I kind of like it, I'll just take out the blade and and put her saber on her belt. What do you think?

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Ahsoka Tano Page 26

Spectacular! Is that paint or a decal on the cheeks? Super steady hand.

Re: Natedog's figure bashes and customs - Update! Ahsoka Tano Page 26

Thanks guys. Its all paint this time. I drew up the designs, printed them off, laid them on top of some masking tape and cut them out. The cheeks came out nice, but the smaller marks on her forehead needed some touch ups with a brush which is why they don't look quite as good. The eyebrows are straight brush work.

Next big project is under way.
All I'm going to say is that he/she is going to need a lot of custom fabrication work so its going to take a while. :)
There will be a few in between though. :clap
