"My hands let me down." At first I thought it was Kobe saying that as he walked off. I am pretty sure it was Webber in the studio saying that as Kobe was looking at his hands.
Last nights OKC and Den game was pretty close up until the final quarter or so. I won't go as far as saying I would rather face LA or SA than OKC, but OKC is such a high energy type team that Denver's speed and energy doesn't really give them an advantage anyway. I'd much rather play Dallas.
Weird. I can't find a few older postings that I made in this thread.
In any case, Wake's outline is pretty much how I saw it working out as well. I had said that the Eastern Conference was ripe for the Heat to steal. Chicago too young, NY and Orlando not ready yet, and Boston in a downward slide. Heat can sneak in and snag the East.
As for the West, I remember saying that it all goes through LA.
The only thing about the Bulls being too young is that they've been to the playoffs before with these kids. Now, they haven't to the finals or anything like that but they've been in a couple of good series with Boston and Cleveland. Plus Boozer, Thibs, Kroover, etc have been deeper into the playoffs.
They stand as good a chance at anybody at having success. Because they play some damn good defense.
That Heat game was pathetic. I'm not even sure if Bosh made it to the arena... LeBron was off in the first quarter, too. He should have been leading but it was like he didn't want to take charge. Very strange game.
The bench is really hurting us. Their lack of contribution is going to bite them in the playoffs.
