Or they could win it all and then its going to be me in this thread reminding you guys every day of the lock-out extended off season who's balls you can lick.

:lol...You're my kinda guy Wake no matter what happens...:lol

I see nothing wrong with a man who loves his team dearly, and willing to offend nearly (myself not included) everyone who gets in his way with the love affair you have for your team.

Your time will come when you can piss on the whole thread (like I will when we win it all again this season) but just not this year son!

There is only one winner, there is going to be alot of excuse makers on here.

Im just happy the Knicks made the playoffs, hoping they ditch D'Antoni though

And to everyones dismay we Lakers fans will once again be the last ones talking and accepting all the excuses of why your team(s) didn't win.

Sad thing is, you werent even attacking Wake or LeTraitor and he went off on you. He clearly has some kind of mental issue he needs to work through...

Must be from all the fake tanning oil and suntan lotion fumes in miami. :lol

I can't wait to once again put the mute on all you who think that you really have a chance...:)

Where's all your online sports bravado in the NFL thread??? Oh yeah, you're a broncos fan! :lol

Yeah, if I were you i'd milk this Lakers thing for all that it's worth since it is all you have.

Oh bro' you're hitting below the belt with this post...:lol

What can I say...WE SUCK BALLS!!! I'm still a huge Broncos fan, but my time has not come and it would be pointless to go in that thread pounding my chest. Especially when I have nothing to pounded it for other than us firing Josh "the phony" McDaniels...:yess: Ran or traded away all of our good players in a 1 1/2 of his coaching reign...:(

I don't get that myself. Its one thing to love your team and have friendly banter with folks but to go to the point of being a ____ is just not for me. Last year Ill posted a joke to me on twitter he getting his hat and shirt from the lakers winning. It was all in good fun and if Chicago does that I got a gag or two up my sleeve. :lol I'd take jokes from pretty much everyone in this thread as it been fun but Wake and IL are just the type of sports fan that just ruin the fun to be honest.

He's a broncos fan huh? :lol

^^^ Got to love the rally the troops effort this guy puts on...:lol I'm guessing this guys has nothing else to worry about but me and Wake...:slap:

Poor little internet guy. Oh well, life goes on...:D

Time for a reality check...

With the exception of NYNosferatu and myself, everyone else is in fanboy mode and oblivious to their own team's potential vulnerabilities.

I've been up front with the fact that the only way the Heat are going to the Finals, let alone win it all, would be if the supposed "big 3" play at a 100% level, each and every game, AND get help from the bench. Without other teammates stepping up, the Heat will be outside, looking in, come the Finals.

With that being said, my predictions from last month continue on track. The East is ripe for the stealing; the road to the Western Conf championship leads through L.A.

I can't wait for the regular season to end already. Even this Sunday's Heat/Celtics game is a big "meh" to me. (especially after watching the drumming that the Bulls gave the Celtics last night...) The final standings should prove very interesting, match-up wise.

And for the record, If/when the Heat win it all, I will not be one of those people here "wooop, wooop, woooping it up". Instead I will quietly bask in the victory, enjoying the moment, spreading on the "fake tanning oil" in anticipation of the parade down Biscayne Bay... ;)

Does this post include L.A. fanboys in this thread. Are we being unreal about our chances at 3 peating? I understand that we are a Bynum injury away from making that 3 peat harder to accomplish, or any injury away from see that happen. But you have stated yourself that the WC goes through the Lakers. I see the matchup against MIA being the match that could cause the Lakers the most problems in the finals. But that would mean that the Big 3 would have to be firing on all cylinders for 4 out of 7 games (which can happen), but I don't think it would. Namely Chris Bosh being the weakest link of the 3. The Chi' plays hard but they just don't strike fear in me as MIA has. Boston, is DONE! Unless that Big 3 can pull off another run like last years playoff run.

I might talk a lot Shhhh, but I'm very down to earth at accessing teams, matchups and the realistic chances at us 3 peating.

Not me. My Celtics have been pooping up the place in courts all across the NBA at the worst possible time of the regular season. They had a great season, but lately look like they've run out of gas. :(

(We'll still kick Miami's ass in the playoffs, though, should we meet :nana:)

Trading away perkins seeled your fate.

I still think it only affected short-term chemistry (for now). The post-season is a fresh start for everyone. If "the big 3" are on, we'll be fine... especially against Eastern Conference teams we match up well against (Heat, Knicks... ) Right now, the Bulls are the only team in the East that really scare me.

And I hope LeBron's mom tries to slap a Valet in Beantown. That would go over like a led balloon. :lol

How they honestly expected Shaq (with his fat and old body) to come back after missing basically the entire season and give you starter style contribution in the playoffs is BEYOND me.

I wouldn't worry about Boston yet, Lakers limped into the playoffs last year too and that worked out for them so you never know. Though not having Perkins is a pretty big deal since Big Baby doesn't come off the bench anymore, that's a huge loss for them.

Boston limped in last year too and just as easily could have won that Game 7, so who really knows how things will go.

^^^ They also entered the playoffs with a full and healthy roster. This year that's not the case. S. O'neal can't even come back for one game before getting hurt again. I just don't see them making that kind of run this year.

Oh please  I know full in well what Chicago's issues are and its that they are young but thats about the worst thing you can say.

You also made nice timing staying away all regular season to start popping off now that we're near the playoffs. :lol

You've been up front for like three weeks. :lol

It is I suppose. It goes through Chicago if someone wants to steal it though.
