Regardless of aa loss by Orlando, the Hornets are not at full strength. The games may be close for 2-3 quarters but expect a sweep by LA.

Nah, they just missed open shots and the Grizzlies made theirs. No excuses. The Grizzlies outplayed them. I was wrong in my initial thoughts. They dropped Game 1's to Denver a couple times. The third time I was thinking of, they dropped a Game 2 to Minnesota back in 1999. I still won't be worried unless they go down 0-2.

I just looked it up and forgot they also dropped a Game 1 at home to Phoenix in '03.

Bannister's right, historically Spurs always have rough and slow starts in the first round, in fact every year we won the championship 03, 05, 07, excluding '99, we lost the 1st game of the playoffs.

We're not going to make excuses. We shouldve still won game 1 even without Manu. I wont be worried until we are eliminated. If anything, I hope this lights a fire under them. Props to the Grizz...
