I don't think Kobe would like that, unless the Lakers pull a 3peat, which won't be easy this year. Lots of changes coming in the off season though with so many teams. No one even knows if NO will have a team....

I like Jason Kidd. i think he deserves a championship before he retires.

God himself could come down from heaven and tell me the only way I could get there would be to root for the Mavs and I would still refuse to do so because of Jason ____ing Terry.

Lakers vs. Mavs... I officially don't care who wins. Hate them both.
No brainer. Pau is still too soft in the middle. D Howard = better defense plus he can also score if needed. We can never have too many bruisers in the paint. Bynum, and Dwight playing together?! I'd do the trade in a heartbeat.

Lakers wouldn't play two centers together like that and magic won't give up Howard for Pau. I actually think they may have to give up Bynum and someone else for him. If Howard does go to the lakers i'll lose all respect for him.
Either way the conference semi finals should be great. I just hope the Spurs pull it up, not only because I'm a huge fan, but because it just doesn't seem right not having them in it and have the smegging Grizzlies in there instead.

I haven't heard/paid attention to any of this talk, but that's a pretty dang uneven trade if you ask me. You build teams around a guy like Dwight Howard. Pau is more of a complementary guy. It's true that Kobe couldn't win without Pau, but Howard willed his team to the finals without any other major stars on his team to deserve much of the credit, IMO.
Having said that, if Howard is leaving anyway and wants to go to the Lakers to win a championship, power to him. I think that would make the Lakers much more formidable than they even are now, assuming they maintain chemistry on the team and don't get too old in the teeth with some of their other players (and that Bynum doesn't break his leg again).
My dream for a couple of years was for a monster big man like Howard to come play with CP3, but that's never gonna happen so no use fantasizing
If anything, Paul is gonna go elsewhere to win with other stars.
That's what I meant.. he's leaving anyway. Magic are in a bad position. Getting pau. Is much better than alot of other possible scenarios. And I don't see an issue with bynum and howard playing together. The rebinding and defense around the rim would be sick.
The winner of Spurs/Grizzlies faces the THunder. I want the spurs to win because I think the spurs have the best chance at beating the thunder then the Grizzlies. As a laker fan, I'd rather face the spurs then the thunder.
And even if they don't play together(at the same time), having bynum as a backup center to Dwight is also pretty sick.
Its the shaq blueprint. Allready all laid out.
I'm not sure if the Magic have a choice. If Howard is a free agent and decides to leave, he will no matter what the magic do. Don't forget how we got Shaq.
As for the lakers playing two centers, you maybe right, but what's to say Bynum won't move to power forward and let dwight be the center or vice versa?
