I think bynum would make a poor power forward, he's a natural center. Orlando will more then likely lose Howard but they are not forced to deal with the lakers, let alone accept a trade like that. I think pau a is a great player but the magic will want more then just him for Dwight

I haven't heard/paid attention to any of this talk, but that's a pretty dang uneven trade if you ask me. You build teams around a guy like Dwight Howard. Pau is more of a complementary guy. It's true that Kobe couldn't win without Pau, but Howard willed his team to the finals without any other major stars on his team to deserve much of the credit, IMO.

Having said that, if Howard is leaving anyway and wants to go to the Lakers to win a championship, power to him. I think that would make the Lakers much more formidable than they even are now, assuming they maintain chemistry on the team and don't get too old in the teeth with some of their other players (and that Bynum doesn't break his leg again).

My dream for a couple of years was for a monster big man like Howard to come play with CP3, but that's never gonna happen so no use fantasizing :lol If anything, Paul is gonna go elsewhere to win with other stars.

we already know Paul wants out too, I see him going to Orl to keep Howard there. Orl may have to do a Knicks type thing where they trade half their roster, but it would be worth it to do so. Orl has a lot of good role players and NO will want to get something, than nothing for Paul.

Yeah, if it's a trade situation, magic will definately want more than just gasol alone.

Lakers wouldn't play two centers together like that and magic won't give up Howard for Pau. I actually think they may have to give up Bynum and someone else for him. If Howard does go to the lakers i'll lose all respect for him.

Either way the conference semi finals should be great. I just hope the Spurs pull it up, not only because I'm a huge fan, but because it just doesn't seem right not having them in it and have the smegging Grizzlies in there instead.

Drew WAS more expendable earlier in the season, now not so much. He's bouncing around like a kid now. Now, whether he's doing it to make himself more marketable or because he finally feels healthier, despite the knee doesn't matter. But, he is still the more expendable of the two. Would Orlando take him for Howard? prolly not.

The Knicks need a big like Howard more than the Lakers IMO.

LOL@Jstep reporting the thread. :lol:rotfl:lol

Hope Memphis can finish out the Spurs, tonight!

I'd rather the Grizz go to the second round. It's always good to see some new faces in the playoffs.
