LMAO and does Mr. Simmons include the 2011 Grizzlies in his big book?

Stand by your ridiculous statment of the 1999 Knicks GOAT since I just DESTROYED your argument. Ill get the sign that reads:
POPULATION: YOU

Okay, kid.

If you truly think there are more people in the world that think the Grizzlies, right now, are the greatest 8th seed in NBA history, there's nothing more to say.

Making a statement like that with the 2nd round of the playoffs JUST STARTING TODAY is retarded.

Go Spurs Go!
:rotfl

Passion is great. Blind passion, without any sense of rationality, is just about the worst thing in the world.

All that I will say is that belief has to start somewhere and at least he's cheering for a true contender. Now if they will win it all that's the passion that he has for his team. I'm sure he thinks that his team will beat the Lakers if they make it, but what else is he suppose to think? Now if he was cheering for the Grizz' and saying they're going to win it all I see that as irrational thinking. But as the old quote goes "that's why you play the games." I believe the Lakers fan will be last fan left standing when it's all over...:yess:

I'm "slow" but you still fail to understand "fact and opinion?" :rotfl

And comparing statistics of how many points each player averaged shows absolutely nothing.
:lol:rotfl:lol

It doesn't take into account defense. It doesn't take into account coaching. Steals, boards, turnovers, etc.
:clap

lmao, go do your own research, you want me to wipe your butt too?

Um I thought we were comparing teams head to head? Not head to head to playoff performance lmao...keep throwing in all those qualifiers, Im sure it'll help make you believe yourself even more...Im done educating you.

Would that be much different than what you do for a living currently?
:rotfl

All I'm saying, is let's wait and see how far the Grizz go before declaring them King of the 8th seeds after a single playoff series where they dethroned an elderly Duncan, a flopping European, and the rest of the Spurs.

Yes, this Grizzlies team would've defeated:

Patrick Ewing
Allan Houston
Latrell Sprewell
Marcus Camby
John Starks
Larry Johnson
:slap
:lol

The only people that would have that OPINION this early in the playoffs are Spurs fans.

:lol

I think the Grizzlies are the best 8th seed since the 99 Knicks. I don't for the record consider the 99 Knicks a true 8th seed to be honest. It was half a season and if it went on longer i think the knicks would of been way higher then 8.

Yeah that Spurs had the best record in the west and would of had the best record period if Duncan didn't go down for two weeks so stop acting like the Spurs sucks.

But isn't that similar to how Jstep and others have said the Grizzlies would've been a higher seed had they not tanked specifically so they could play the Spurs?

The Knicks were an 8th seed...in a shortened season.

It has been noted by numerous analysts that the Grizz tanked so they could get that first round match up against the Spurs.

An 8th seed is an 8th seed. No matter the circumstances.

I know this may sound like a BS excuse to you, but I think grizzlies happened to match up well against the Spurs, why they wanted to play them. plus like I may of mentioned the spurs lost a lot of momentum after Timmy got injured. I'm not making excuses, Duncan is not what he used to be even though he's still a great player. If the Grizzlies are able to defeat the Thunder I think it's a pretty good case they are the best 8th to come long in the last ten years.

Whatever. It doesn't matter. The Spurs have 4 rings, had as close to a dynasty as possible in the modern era, and are one of the best franchises in NBA history.

I'd say that's a pretty damn good run.

True indeed, think this year they just got upset, ____ happens

I agree , i'm not even sure what you guys are arguing about since i missed a lot of the posts and i'm too lazy to go back read, but you said Zebo wouldn't score well against Robinson and Duncan in 1999, I agree with that 100%, but then again I just read that one post so i'm not sure who's case i'm helping, :lol
