Yes, this Grizzlies team would've defeated:

Patrick Ewing
Allan Houston
Latrell Sprewell
Marcus Camby
John Starks
Larry Johnson
:slap
:lol

The only people that would have that OPINION this early in the playoffs are Spurs fans.

:lol

Um, Patrick Ewing was OUT FOR THE SEASON and John Starks was LONG GONE. Thanks for showing how much of a true blue Knicks fan that you are LMAO :slap :lol

And yes, the wouldve destroyed the rest of those scrubs, lmao, just like the Spurs did. The Grizzlies arent that much more talented (if it all) than that Spurs 99 team was...

You're talking to the wrong dude carl. That's wakes twin. Both guys are fine with insults and wanting to make it personal. First post of this guy makes in this thread he starts coming at me personally. Don't waste your time.

Duly noted.

I meant if the team was healthy. :dunno

If both teams were HEALTHY, not if they played each other in the first round of the "1999 Playoffs."

Jesus...
:rotfl

Wow. Really? You're going there? The 99 Spurs won a championship. The 2010 Grizzlies have won the 1st game of the second round of the playoffs so far, and you calling them 'as talented, if not more so' than the 99 Spurs?
:lol

Yes I am. Besides a wet behind the ears Duncan and a Robinson on the decline who else did they have, oh all knowing one?

It was. Just don't try to make wake come off as innocent because he's far from it.

Not at all, and I never said that. You were just the last poster for me to comment on, sorry troll on..

Still think the Heat take this series, face the Bulls next round, and go 7

Okay, you keep believing your OPINION, while the rest of the sports' world considers the 99 Knicks to be the greatest 8th seed in NBA history.
:lol

Show me where, prior to this season's Grizz is eeeeeeveryone calling the Knicks the greatest 8th seed ever?

Go ahead, Ill wait.

A team that won the championship against far better defensive and all around competition that's present in today's NBA.

Look, I really hate giving credit to anything San Antonio(it's a **** city, and the only saving grace is Lackland), but to compare the 99 Spurs to the Grizzlies is ridiculous.

Let them get to the Western Conference Finals before you start cashing in your McDonald's check.
:lol

LMAO nice job avoiding the question.

Im done with this one, NEXT!

PS if we're gonna play the "if healthy card" dont forget Rudy Gay is out too.

So Ill take a healthy Rudy Gay + the Grizzlies over a crippled Ewing + Knicks any day of the week...

You're the man!

It's written by Bill Simmons in the Big Book of Basketball.

Before wasting my time searching website forums and blogs, let's see the Grizz get past the 2nd round.

If not...

At least they embarrassed the Spurs. :rotfl

What seed were the Warriors when they defeated the Mavericks?

Edit: 8th. And then went on to lose to the Jazz in 5.

I'll stand by my comment and say that the only reason the "Grizz are the best 8th seed" in history is being thrown around by Spurs fans...is because they just beat the Spurs.

I'm positive the same was thrown around after Golden State handled the Mavs.

And then the talking stopped once the Jazz took care of business.

Just like the talking will stop once OKC ousts the Grizz.

2011 Grizzlies

OJ Mayo 17.5
Marc Gasol 14.6
Mike Conley 12.0
Sam Young 7.4

I'm "slow" but you still fail to understand "fact and opinion?" :rotfl

And comparing statistics of how many points each player averaged shows absolutely nothing.
:lol:rotfl:lol

It doesn't take into account defense. It doesn't take into account coaching. Steals, boards, turnovers, etc.
:clap

LMAO and does Mr. Simmons include the 2011 Grizzlies in his big book?

Stand by your ridiculous statment of the 1999 Knicks GOAT since I just DESTROYED your argument. Ill get the sign that reads:
POPULATION: YOU

By the way, if you believe that Fat Randolph would get his 20 a game(or 30) with Robinson and a younger Duncan in the post, you're younger than I thought(right now, I place you at 19).
