Oh, and speaking of the Spurs, while I'm almost certain they will demolish my VERY THIN Knicks line-up tonight, I am anxious to see Turiaf start at center and Chandler get more playing time at SF.

God help me if there is another injury besides Gallo.

Im sure the Spurs will lull everyone in attendance to sleep, including teh Knicks players

Spurs = :sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep:sleep

Ahem. Excuse me. They "talked a lot of ______ just to get _______ slapped by Ewing and the KNICKS."

The 90's Knicks ALWAYS owned the Heat.

Then the Bulls owned the Knicks.

Get it right.
:wave

Actually didn't the Bulls own the Knicks, then The Knicks owned the Heat, then Jordan came back and owned them both.:lol:lol:lol

I am correct in every instance with this one. The one Bulls team that didn't with him that only had 1 I guess got ____ed by a bad call. That team probably would have won it. If you're only basing it on that little bit then Red Auerbach who I would put behind Jackson isn't second best because he had so many HOF players

I think this is one of those we won't see eye 2 eye on. I like Pop and think he's a great coach. Knows how to get things done but not a chance in hell ever will be be considered better than Jackson at least for me.

You referrring to the LJ foul?

Spurs can't win. They are scoring more than they ever have and people still call them boring.:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

I think he is talking about the call on the Hubert Davis shot in 94.

They could score 400 points a night, Duncan is about as exciting as plain toast, and people only cared about Tony Parkere when he was with Eva, now hes just another douche, lol

lol boring is the only "slur" anyone can think of regarding one of the all time most successful franchises in sports history. Ill take boring and rings over exciting and being failures any day.

Spurs better screw up, oh sorry Phil, crank up that D or they are staring at loss #5 tonight...

True in some cases, depends on the degree of the snoozefest

Knicks played a helluva game tonight, even though Im not wearing a hat currently, my hats off to 'em.

lol, I ignored it because it was a dumb post. Spurs only have 1 SUPERstar. I highly doubt anyone would classify Manu and TP as SUPERstars unless the argument is convenient for them. I would call them stars but def. not at the same level as LeBron, Kobe, Garnett etc. I personally would classify a player a superstar if they are sureshot HOF, thats how I define a superstar anyways.

That call about had me busting my TV.

I think that the teams playing the Spurs would disagree with you since they would have to figure out a way to contend with all 3 of them. But whether YOU want to call someone a Star or a Superstar is symantics at best anyways so I don't think my post was "stupid":peace

Well Im not going to respond to you and your personal attacks anymore because its clear Ive gotten under your thin skin. When you grow up and put the big boy britches on, let me know and we can chat. k, thanks

:lol:lol:lol

your the one who HAS to respond to every small negative comment regarding your Splurs. I say Phil is the best, and you insinuate my posts as being illogical or stupid. Your such a hypocrite, its laughable. I also find in laughable that your "opinions" have little to no facts backing up your attempts for a debate on any subject. When your actually capable of having a debate without saying the other person doesnt know what their talking about, let me know and we can chat. k, thanks

The really bad ass and confident lakers are playing MUCH worse than the Heat have this season pal. Heat have 1 loss by double digits. How are your boys doing in that category? Phil Jackson and Kobe are coming apart at the seams. Typical egotistical Laker fan thinks the world revolves around the lakers... but you cant tell that your window is shut. Kobe is OLD and stubborn. Pau is disinterested. Fisher? Artest? Senior citizens. NO PHIL JACKSON CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM HAS EVER LOST THREE GAMES IN A ROW BY DOUBLE DIGITS. You just got spanked AGAIN three games later. Everyone seems to think Champions are going shut-up the doubters... the reality is Champions are ALWAYS dethroned--sooner or later.

Feel free to test my basketball knowledge... or are you content with making ridiculous generalized accusations?

Like I said... keep underestimating the Heat.

Lakers, Celtic and San Antonio are built for the Playoffs.. Regular season, especially early.. Who cares... We'll get hot.. And prolly have another cold spell again as well.. I don't care about your stats, those mean nothing to me... Also the Lakers are a unique pro team.. Since the 70's theyve averaged 1 championship every 4 years.. Hard to keep us down.. I would'nt expect a Heat fan to understand this..

Anyways, to me its about doing more, with less. I think Jerry Sloan ranks up there as well. But c'mon, Phil had MJ, Pippen, Kobe, Shaq and Pau. To just blindly automatically rank him as the greatest of all time is superficial imo. What did he do when he didnt have Pip or Pau? He was an AVERAGE COACH.

On doing more with less, don't leave out Larry Brown from the mix. I think he's one of the best coaches ever with doing more with less. Case in point: Taking the Clippers to the playoffs, taking Indiana far into the playoffs, 76sixers to the finals and Detroit to the championship against a very loaded laker team. Jordan shouldn't have fired him. He should have given Larry Brown more time and patience. If Phil retires from the lakers, I wouldn't mind having Larry brown as a replacement. If he can handle and gain the respect of Iverson, he certainly can handle Kobe.
