Uh huh. The officials are the reason the Heat have been dominated by the Celtics on the floor thus far, including the game in Miami when they never even once had a lead.

Dominated?! That's not what I would call losses of 8, 5, and 3 (in chronological order)... what's next a tie? What about a Heat 1 point win. Seems to me the trend is Boston losing their grip. The Heat shoots better than any team in the NBA and is 43% from 3 point line... they went 3 of 17 and missed a ton of open looks... still we were one LeBron FT or Miller Open 3 away from taking it to overtime.

Maybe if the officials hadn't called a bull_____ flagrant on Wade, or actually called a foul when Garnet clearly mauled Lebron when he had 5 fouls.

Believe me... I'll take my future as a fan of this team OVER ANYONE elses. You would too if you were honest enough to admit to yourself.

Owner Jerry Buss was disrepected. He had a talk with the lakers team before the Cavs game, and the lakers still ended up losing to the worst team in the league. Ouch!

:lol Classic fan spin. Just look at the overall stats from all 3 games. Everyone who's not a Heat fan knows that the Celtics have controlled this series, thus far.

I'm not calling for a sweep or anything... but clearly the Celtics have no fear of the Heat and I have to like their chances in even a 5 game series at this point.

Do you really want to open up that can of worms? You don't think "The Big 3" get away with stuff all the time? Trust me, it's in the NBA's best financial interest that they don't crap the bed, especially this year.

The future potential success of the Heat? Sure, I'd take that. The annoying overnight hype from mostly front-running fans (not saying YOU, but you have to admit they've come out of the woodwork)? That I could do without. The Celtics are actually a part of the fabric and culture of New England, and have been for decades. I wouldn't trade that for anything. But, yeah, the Heat are primed to contend for years now. Good on them. Maybe they'll make some actual history in the process. They have to EARN it, though. You can't just sign an all-star starting 5 and except to win by default, especially in the spunky Eastern Conference.

Wow Wake, you're really dumb. You have no big bodies, Celtics are loaded with them along w/ a killer in pierce. They butt ____ed you 3x w/ no vasoline...

Almost never cuts it..

About this officiating thing...all I'm gonna say is Kobe gets hacked more than anyone when going to the hoop and gets no love.

The Lakers always lose to crappy teams, even the Shaq-Kobe teams led eggs all over the place, but still these Lakers have been to 3 straight finals and looking for the 4th.

As Bodie said, I'll take the lazy season Lakers that go deep into the playoffs vs. The teams that have the best reg season records and choke in the 1st or 2nd round.

We're so complacent it's sickening..:gah:
I guess this is why it's so rare to have a 3 peat.. I still really like our chances come post season though..

:rofl:rofl:rofl

nice bodie! Brought out the ice cube lol!

Regarding the celts vs. The heatles :facepalm the score doesn't show a "domination" from the celts, but watching the game u can tell that the bigs from the celts dominated the inside. And if you banking on haslem (coming off injury) to help bosh against Garnett, big baby, Perkins, and shaq, might as well as place you money somewhere else.

The heat have no post up game either, which you will need for the playoffs, because everything is at a slower pace. Full court passes are dope to watch, but it won't happen too often against diciplined defenses in the playoffs.

I guess i'm a bit late but yeah :lol:rotfl:lol @ Lakers

Can't wait for tonight, Chicago has been playing great but the spurs are gonna put a stop to that.

Me too, baring any injuries, I think we have the talent and the know-how to get it done again. The only thing I worry about is not having home-court advantage.

As a Celtics fan I have no love for the Lakers (duh), but I don't understand anyone laughing at them right now.

Two facts:

1) The Lakers will be in the post-season

2) They will be as dangerous as anyone in said post-season

I wouldn't yuck it up too much.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again...12-13 vs. .500+ teams and 1-6 vs. top teams in the NBA. No team, that I know of, has ever won a championship with a losing record vs. .500+ teams.

Some Heat fans think that then when the playoff start that the magic playoff fairy is going to sprinkle "heart in a jar" dust on the Heatles and they're just going to magically start beating experienced, talented teams and it just doesnt work that way in the NBA.

There's a reason that people arent taking the Heat seriously.

The Lakers also has 3 three game losing streaks (2 were actually 4 game losing streaks)

If you're a Laker fan, thats not very promising at all.

I'm predicting they won't make it to the Western conference finals. It's still very early but I could see them getting knocked off second round.

Ill tell you what, IF the Heat win it all this season, Ill eat crow and send you a championship hat. How does that sound :)
