As a Celtics fan I have no love for the Lakers (duh), but I don't understand anyone laughing at them right now.

Two facts:

1) The Lakers will be in the post-season

2) They will be as dangerous as anyone in said post-season

I wouldn't yuck it up too much.

Number 2 is actually an opinion. Just saying... :1-1:

Landry Fields?!?!? Really?!?! Untouchable?! He'll be one heck of 13/7 guy one day. :/ TRADE HIM. MELO IS %1000 MORE VALUABLE.

Of course he is. But you can't trade an entire team for a single player.

Look, I've watched every Knick game this year(at MSG or at home) and I'm telling you...you don't simply trade away the future.

The current deal made sense to me:

Gallo
Curry
Chandler
AR(for the 1st rounder)

for

Melo
Billups.

Other than that, you can't do it. All of the same people(most non-Knicks fans) saying "TRADE AWAYA THEW TEAMMM ARGHHHHHH!H!! DO ITTTTTI RRRRRR!!!!" are the same idiots that...should the deal go down, and the Knicks STILL SUCK, will then say: "well...what did they expect? They traded away too much for him."

:lol

Edit: and Wake, Fields is already more than simply a 13/7 guy. Not that I'm expecting you to know this, since I'm sure you're one of the 10 fans that show up to Heat games. Right?

Fields is already more than a 13/7 guys? REALLY?

Seems like I was wrong... he's actually a 10/7 guy

Like I said...you don't watch the games. You don't see the intangibles Fields brings to the team. How he doesn't make turnovers. How he makes his teammates better. How he hustles. How he defends. Etc.

Things that are no necessarily seen in statistics.

Check out Bill Simmons on ESPN. He's an extremely well-traveled and respected journalist that can explain it better than I can; especially in regards to Fields.

Fields is not someone ANY Knick fan will part with. Call us crazy, but...then again, we're the ones actually watching the games.

I'd say it's similar to you and your knowledge of the Heat, but again, you never can tell whether someone is a true Heat fan or not. The only things I see when I watch a Heat game are the empty seats in the stands when Lebron throws his baby powder in the air.
:dunno

You live in Ft. Lauderdale... you must know how it is in Miami. Everyone arrives late. ;)

Oh, don't get me wrong. I LOVE Ft. Lauderdale.

I HATE Miami, however. Despise it. Still deciding on whether or not I want to grab Marlins' season tix next year for the new stadium.

Orange Bowl site = ghetto X 100000.
:rotfl

Funny. I lived off Las Olas for a year a couple of years ago... couldn't stand it. ;)

Now I live across from the triple A. I get to games early.

Most of my best friends in FL are Heat fans. Everyone else - Knicks.

What amazes me, however, are the amount of 'fake' Heat fans that couldn't bother to attend a single game. Not one.

They also can't name any players besides LJ, DW, UD, and Chrissy Bosh.

You're different. So that's a plus, at least. Good for you. When the Knicks get knocked out of the first round, I'm picking the Heat in the East.

Nice. Yeah I hear you. You're right about the fans here. Most only watch when they're winning and really have no idea what they're talking about. Somebody said to me the other day, "Man the Heat are gonna be great once Shaq comes back from injury".... ROFL That's someone who hasn't watched a minute since '06.

thats just sad..

Nice win for the Bulls. Just as I suspected, Rose went off on us and we had no answer. This should go a long way for building up the Baby Bulls confidence heading into the latter part of the season.

As for the Spurs, its just another loss. As long as they have home court advantage in the playoffs and are healthy, frankly I dont care how many losses they have or who they lose to.

I think youre right. I have a feeling the bulk of our losses this season will come from this road trip...Im expecting 4-5 losses out of the 12 road games...there's 3 back-to-back games within that stretch, those are always tough...

(my prediction: losses @ NO and/or @Utah, @LAL,then we'll get upset by one of the sorry teams like a SAC/TOR/PHI type team and then @ CHI)

By the way, did I call it or what?

Trade out my prediction of the loss to the Lakers for what really happened, a loss to the Blazers, and I nailed my prediction.

We had losses against NO, POR (instead of the LAL), a loss to a sorry team (PHI) and a loss to CHI.

Do I know my boys or what :slap :rotfl
