All of the Chicago games have come down to the final shot....

In one we had no Lebron and Bosh was out for the 4th.
In another Bosh went a with an aberrational 1 for 18 and still we were a wide open look from winning.
And in the last game we were robbed by a phantom call on Mike Miller when we were up 1 with seconds left on a Deng missed FT.

I think the law of averages will swing the other way.

Boston in the Conference finals will be tough.

We're playing good basketball on both ends. I love the team play we have. Plus we play defense and know how to play in the 1/2 court which is big come playoff time. I truly like our chances to make some serious noise.

This Game is the epitome of why I dont like teams based around an offensive philosophy. Offense takes games off. DEFENSE DOESNT. How do you not match up in a game like this when your getting hammered by the bigs? Someone please explain it to me, because for the life of me I just dont understand.

Why you blaming it all on D'Antoni? Your starters are not exactly defensive presences in their own right. have the balls to own up to that at least. Stoudemire has always had problems with defense, so has Melo. Billups is ok, but he's getting older and can't go full out on both ends of the floor any more.

I have the "balls" to admit that STAT was never taught defense until he met Alvin Gentry(D'Antoni sucks), that Melo CAN play defense when he has a coach that prods him to(i.e. Syracuse) and a bevy of role players on the team that CAN play defense(Balkman, Jeffries, Douglas, Turiaf, Walker, Fields).

The Suns didn't play defense under D'Antoni, and neither do the Knicks. His Euro-Style play does not work in the NBA and will never win anything in the NBA save a first or second round playoff series.

It's hard to work on your defense when you have a coach that knows jack **** about it.

Edit: But then again, I'm the one that has been watching 95% of Knicks' games for the last 20 years. Even Isiah's teams had worked on D more than this. Lenny Wilkins, Larry Brown, etc. I'd place D'Antoni a notch above Isiah in terms of coaching, but it still means squat when every other team's BIG is dropping 30 points on us on a daily basis. D'Antoni is soft. Never yells at the players, only the refs. And his soft-Euro style is going to get him kicked out the league in seven years. I guarantee his ass is coaching in Italy/College by 2017.

Nice win for the Tears - they obviously need it more than we do.

Having said that, I think the Tears played the best they can and the Spurs didnt and I think the Spurs couldve put together a nice run at the end when they were down by 12.

I think the Spurs looked past the Tears to Friday's game vs. the Mavs. That is a must-win for our psyche. That game Spurs really NEED TO WIN.

This was the Spurs biggest loss since April 7, 2005, a 104-68 defeat in Dallas.
