I'm pretty sure Wade touched the ball on the way up, before definitively knocking it down. Also, Duncan's push off isn't legal.

It wasnt a push off, he was instinctively protecting himself as he was going up. :rolleyes2

At any rate, enjoy your win, 'cuz you know youre going to get it 100x worse from all of us when your Heat get bounced in the playoffs - if you still have the balls to come around....remember karma's a 4-legged dog...:)

Gotta love all of the Heat hate.

The haters dismiss any excuses from Heat fans but are quick to revert to them when either:

a) The Heat win

b) The Heat beats their team

c) Their team loses

For the record, I didn't expect them to win a championship this year, especially at the beginning of the season, but even if they do win, it's a Kobyoshi Maru for them. You'll get the haters saying, "They SHOULD have won..." or "yeah, but can they repeat, etc..."

I'm enjoying the season as it goes, regardless of the outcome. It's been one wild and fun rollercoaster. Any true basketball fan has to admit at least that.

Holy crap, a Heat "fan" comes out from hiding! Where were you 2 weeks ago? Oh my...bandwagon fans...:rotfl:lol

Wake you are such a tool. U guys won another game against a good team. Jesus with how rigged your lineup is I'd ____ing hope so. You guys are playing pissed like you did for a while earlier. The same thing will happen and you'll start playing like ____ soon.
All I know is the Heat ain't winning the championship this year. that alone makes me happy. I couldnt care less about a regular season win. :)
:lecture :exactly:

The Heat didn't beat my team. :)
Swept that ass!

And before you say anything Wake, who are the Back2Back Champs? That's what I thought.

That's because they waiting to roll them in the playoffs.
:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Funny.

To me I just dont understand why the Heat fans feel the need to talk so much ____. It comes across like a fan base that knows things are rigged in their favor and are worried it might not turn out that way.

Such passionate fans for their respective teams.

Finally had a chance to see the Oklahoma City Thunder in person last night against the Wizards in DC.

Some random thoughts:

1) Kevin Durant looks a lot more rangy / lanky in person then on TV. He has huge feet as well. It looked like he was wearing clown shoes. And he is such an effortless scorer. He got 32 points last night without playing in the fourth, and sat for a good spell in the three quarters he did play. I was hoping he'd hit 40.

2) On the flip side, Kendrick Perkins does not look as big as he does on TV. Still looks like he could kill you with his bare hands though.

3) This side of Derrick Rose, I think Russell Westbrook is the most explosive point guard in the NBA. Granted, it was the Wizards, but Westbrook was getting into the lane at will.

4) Besides the obvious in Durant and Westbrook, Serge Ibaka is going to play a huge role for the Thunder come playoff time. He reminds me of when Marcus Camby was with the Knicks. Raw offensively, but a great help defender and a great weak side shot blocker. Again, this was against the Wizards, but he had eight blocks last night...but he did have that huge game block-wise against the Lakers in the play-offs last year.

Other teams better beat up on them now, because Chicago and OKC are going to be beating up on the rest of the league for years to come.

You talk just as much ____ as anyone else.

:lol:panic::lol

I totally forgot about this thread, as I rarely venture in these waters... ;)

Been a Heat fan for 20+ years.

Now here's my take:

The Eastern Conference is up ripe for a team to sneak in and steal it. Boston is fading fast. New York is not ready. Chicago is too young. Orlando is not worthy. Don't be surprised to see the Heat grab the conference title. That's all I'm saying.

The West has to go through Los Angeles, regardless of how they are playing. Oklahoma is not ready, Dallas and San Antonio are not ready, regardless of their records. LA is aging but still holds the upper hand.

Miami vs LA in the Finals.

LA passes the torch as their own is extinguished... :survivor

Keep doubting us. I like it that way. Rose and several members of this team are playoff tested between playing Boston and Cleveland. As I said keep doubting us though.

Its either Chicago or Boston out of the east

LA or the Spurs in the West.

I personally think Chicago vs LA 2 twenty years later.

I apologize right now for that I will offend when the playoff start and we start our march to title #17 aka...the 3peat without Shaq...:wink1:

If you want to smack talk with me and hoops. BRING YOUR A GAME!...:lol Real talk boys!

^^^ Watch out, fellas, Ive seen this guy over at the Spawn Board!! He does have some good smack talking game! :wink1:

The Laker fan-base just got stronger if IL starts posting here regularly...(just do me a favor and please dont bring SteelSpawn over here) :lol

Wade or Kobe, who's better right now?

This very moment, Wade is on top of his game right now in every aspect. In fact, I would say Wade is > than LeTraitor...

Kobe is on the downside of his career and cant shoulder the same 48 min. weight like he once did. Having said that, he can still bring it when he needs to and score at will but he has a much different team dynamic than Wade does so he tailors his game a little differently than Wade has to...

More excellent coaching tonight by D'amphony. Excellent play call with Jared Jeffries shooting the 3.

What a defensive mastermind he is allowing the Pacers to score 119 points on us. I don't give a **** if our players are all from the Harlem Globetrotters, this is the WORST defensive Knicks team in 3 decades.
