its official, called it, fish and skip out for game 3..........of course lakers can win without him, its not like he gives them a huge boost in confidence when hes out there. hes a good role player, nothin more or less. its his experience they need. and u know damn well, if it was kobe, gasol, or odom, theres a more than good chance they would lose a game without one of those players

No Fisher for game 3.

"Jackson also announced that the Lakers' Kobe Bryant has been assessed a Flagrant Foul Penalty One for elbowing Houston's Ron Artest in the chest area with 6:57 remaining in the fourth period of Wednesday night's game."

Its kinda sad that you're taking a joke about a millionaire basketball player that happens to play on your favorite team so personally. Would you be so offended if he played on any other team? If not, then you need to look in the mirror and remember you're not 8 anymore and that Kobe isn't related to you.
I tend to get a little to overprotective of my team, so my bad for that. But I'm sure you wouldn't like it if I made a joke about you being somebody's 'plaything' either. So you don't like Kobe, I do, let us move on. Agreed?

This is why I don't think he'll be suspended.. He hit him square in the numbers and sent the goof flying.. We can win game 3 too if Fisher is out. This is why the Lakers are so good, we can win w/o key players whether they are injured, suspended or having a poor game..

Lakers in 5.

Also funny to see Artest get so upset over physical play seeing he relies so much on his physical stregth to do what he wants.... He was rooting Kobe and Kobe popped him w/ a little shot.. Thats life under the rim..

Fish is my hero.

May I ask a question?

Which team has the Best Road Record in the NBA?

Oh, now I remember. :D

That's pussie ass bs. Artest and Kobe were fighting for position on that play, Artest was behind Kobe, it was an arm bar type thing, and yes he got hit in the chest, then Artest feigned a blow to the throat. Boo hoo. These guys were throwing bows at eachother all night, and all season for that matter. It's playoff BBall. Let em play.

Artest will self destruct. Kobe has that headcase all set up now.

Some advice to Rocket fans. Hold on to your beer cups. :lol

ps: Derek is THE MAN. We will miss his toughness. Hopefully Jordan will play well in his absence.

Farmar matches up a bit better against Brooks, but he has virtually gotten no playing time this postseason. He is also like Fisher in that he is not so much a slasher as he is a shooter, which equals more Rockets fast breaks off long rebounds. And don't expect Artest to self-destruct, feuds and diceness puts him right in his element. In the end I think game 3 will be a great game :rock

Farmar can slash to the rim anytime he wants, believe me, dude is very fast in the lane. Agreed, good match up w/ Brooks. :D

Artest won't Self destruct? Why did he get thrown out of Game 2? :lol ... and all for biching about a fake blow to the neck. Dude is a maniacal ticking time bomb, his post game interview shows he's just a street thug nutcase. Look at his head. :lol Kobe has him T'd up now. Should be fun to see him lose it on home court.

Maybe the young guys learned something from the lesson he taught..

The Vets must step up tonight, led by Kobe and Lamar. I'd like to see Drew score more on the second unit. He has a huge advantage there but has been ineffective in the Playoffs thus far. The Lakers second unit, one of the best in the NBA, has also played under par. We'll need more from them as well and they know it.

The Lakers have held an advantage in rebounds against the Rockets all year. If they can maintain that tonight and generate second chance points, they'll win.

I'm looking for big games from Lamar and Trevor. Points from Shannon Brown would be icing on the cake. I wonder if Phil will start Brown for Derek instead of Jordan.

Jordan solid. Good 2d half D. Drew much better. Lakers choke hold won it for them in the 3rd, even though they went O for 5 Minutes in the 2nd. Again, Lakers score about 105, Rockets 95 now 8 out of 9 games played between them this season (including playoffs.)

I hope Yao is okay. Doesn't look good for him.

"Houston, we may have a BIG problem."
