Jordan solid. Good 2d half D. Drew much better. Lakers choke hold won it for them in the 3rd, even though they went O for 5 Minutes in the 2nd. Again, Lakers score about 105, Rockets 95 now 8 out of 9 games played between them this season (including playoffs.)
I hope Yao is okay. Doesn't look good for him.

the only way for the rockets to beat the lakers is to keep the scores in the mid 80s to low 90s, they just cant score enough to win in a high scoring game

Big blow for the Rockets, but I still say this series goes 7 games. After tonight it will be 2-2. The Rockets need Yao's offense, but his absence makes them quicker and they're defense is still top notch. Hence, a 29 point lead right now in the 3rd and the Lakers struggling to score points. Never count out the underdog.

No Yao and the Rockets lead 83-54 after 3 quarters...embarrassing for LA.

At least they put Kobe in and are making a run, but the Rockets have thoroughly embarrassed them tonight.
Doesn't matter in the long run. Winner of this series will go down to (on?) the Nuggets.

Today we enjoyed an extra large slice of humble pie..
If the deep and talented Lakers have an achilles heel it is that sometimes they think that they can just step out there and win..
Before the game I was talking to my dad and saying we should be fine if we attack the rim all game long and don't just settle for outside shots.. After all the only big they have left is the one that got punked by Fish..
Well the 1st quarter we settled for only outside shots, most of which we missed.. And attacked the rim only twice... Once resulting in an offensive foul by Odom and they other time Pau got hacked..
Today we did everything that we shouldn't and give Houston credit.. They went out and fought for it while we stood flat footed and allowed them to ^^^^^ slap us from start to finish..
I can't tell you how many times I saw Gasol and Odom stand flat footed while defending guards make their layups.. If they even exerted just a little effort by at least standing on their tip toes they would have done better... Lazy bull^^^^. And Bynum continues to be a deer in headlights..
Hope this wake up call wakes them up for the rest of the ride... Lakers in 6..

Well, well well. So it became true... for a completely set of reasons and circumstances.
All credit to the Rockets, they played smart, with passion and emotion. Sometimes when the Lakers play early road games, they are still asleep at tip off. I think it's a body clock thing, seriously. They lost the game in the first quarter and the Rockets won it in the 1st quarter. The second half was about even points wise.
Lakers will win game 5 in LA and go up 3-2.
This Celtics/Magic game is very good. So close and back-and-forth. I think this game will determine the outcome of the series, too. Never good to go down 3 games to 1.
