refs are pitiful. there is no such thing as "good crew" they all stink. glad they missed one in our favor though ...lol
They're bad all over though. In all level of basketball I should say. There have been plenty of games where I've wanted to yank my hair out cause the refs are so god awful.

Game ended on that Jump Call. Lose possession, give the opponent 2 free throws and I do mean free. Lakers go down 4 with 17 seconds, too much of a burder to overcome. Kind of a bummer, but the Lakers lost this game slacking in the second quarter, on late missed free throws and as Bodie said, closing moment fumbles. Denver won it on free throws. Must credit them for that.
I agree about the Crew, I thought we had a good one, but they too over called the game in the early stages, too ticky tack, then blew too many calls down the line. Thank God ESPN called them on it so we could all see it.
We could see a Nugs Magic Finals. Lakers must take one game in Denver, no easy task.

I thought you turned the game off in a huff and started watching crappy BBC Robin Hood.
its the hardest sport to ref though, and yes there were bad calls against both teams, its just bad luck that the worst call went against LA in the 4th
this game is almost exactly how the Cavs 1st game went.

It is a hard sport to ref. All the constant movement. I know I got away with stuff when I played. Still for the most part good refs are hard to find.

Yeah, Stern always seems very pleased with himself.
Would there be any other option for Officials to be employed by someone other than the NBA commissioner himself? IMO this is the main reason why the officiating is so bad...they answer to Stern himself and therefore Stern has the power to tell them to officiate a game or a player a certain way to get a desired outcome that will financially benefit the image or interest of the NBA.
