I'm betting Denver wins. First it's a must win. Teams going down 3-1 lose the Series 95% historically. Nugs have to redeem themselves and I doubt they'll shoot 19% from the arc or 38% from the field tonight. Thing is, the Lakers are getting almost no production from most of their team. Lamar, Drew, Fish, Jordan, Sasha are all underperforming. It's been Kobe, Pao and Trevor carrying them. Lakers play their best ball when Kobe actually scores less. If the Lakers play better team ball they have a chance tonight.

hoping for a big game from Birdman. He looked great first half but disappeared in the second.

I'll be happy with a 10+ point game and several blocks, but his energy needs to be there in the second half to pump the team and crowd.

I just watched the Kobe does work show. Pretty interesting to have him narrate the playoff game vs SanAntonio. did you guys see it?
I will admit up front that I don't like Kobe at all, but I thought he was really hamming it up and showing off--constantly laughing at himself, speaking phrases in foreign languages, "acting" a bit more than he usually would in a game. Not that I blame him too much--having the camera on you will necessarily change your behavior--but I thought it was kind of cheesy.

Somewhat interesting as a "look inside" the game, but more annoying than anything else. And I agree with Tony Kornheiser--what a fraud Spike Lee is to fawn over Kobe like like he has been! :lol

Nugs should be up by 15, but only up by 7. Lakers bench outscored like 20 -3 with virtually NO production from Jordan, Lamar, Trevor, etc. If the Lakers start hitting 3's I would be a bit concerned if I were Denver.

Melo hasn't been the same last 2 games. He doesn't look good.

But the reverse could be said...even going on a 20-3 run, they are still down. This game is far from over for both teams.

woops, i mis read what you wrote.

Gotcha Bro. I'm just saying this could tighten up real fast if some of the Lakers didn't suck so bad in the 2nd half. Especially Trevor and Lamar. I really do feel bad for Melo, if he was healthy the Nugs would be up by 15 IMO. I still think the Nugs should win tonight.

this woulda coulda shoulda stuff doesn't make any sense to me. Carmelo has like 5 points and you think the Nuggets should be up by 15? Huh? Kobe is playing pretty well, half way to 38 points and the Lakers are the best team in the west for a reason. I don't accept this hyperbole that insinuates the game shouldn't be close. every game has its own miriad of dynamics, I don't accept substituting one dynamic from another game into this one to theorize a result.

Nugs seem to be going to the line alot.. And our offense isn't really clicking..

Yet we can still take this..

Any team with the best record in the conference would have the fire power to make up this deficit like nothing at all.

nuggets are going to the line a lot because their style tonight is really looking for contact. I suspect a few calls will go against them in the 3rd quarter after Phil talks to the refs a bit.

dirty play by jones. but man the announcers are milking it. they don't milk bruce bowen's trips like that.
