We played flat footed and on our heels all game.. this is why we couldn't get a rebound and were fouling on defense... Never broke that cycle all game..

:lecture Denver pounded the boards all night. Beat us to loose balls, took advantage of second chance points. Smith had a great game. Lakers can not win with 2 or 3 players. Phil must be so frustrated.

When TF is Lamar going to show up? He's killing us, averaging < 8 pts/game all Series. It's been all Kobie, Pao and Ariza so far and Trevor played hurt and was off tonight.

Funny how some players play their best under pressure, and others play best when no real pressure is on. That may be one of the biggest differences between Kobe and Lebron. :monkey3

you mean how like Lebron had somethin like 27 consecutive points against detriot in a game last year in the playoffs, which led to them winning that game in the 4TH QUARTER, as well as the series when nobody really picked them to, not even kobe has done that in a playoff game, and lebron was a year younger then.

Was that last year? Wasnt it in 2007 when they wen't to the finals? And i think it was only 25 :monkey3

Any thoughts on the Magic's home game tonight? Will they go up 3-1 or will the series go to a 2-2 tie?

:rock A "Lakers and Magic finale" has a nice ring to it.
It does and I hope so, but if the Lakers (not Kobe) don't get their ^^^^ in gear, that's not gonna happen. The way they are playing I think the Magic would destroy us, we need to get that swagger we had during the regular season back, then we'd give the Magic a good series.

I don't think it'll come to that, but again it is the conference finals, so anything is possible. I think when push comes to shove, Kobe will light a fire under the rest of them and should (emphasis on should) pull out the series win.

I'll admit I haven't been following the Lakers/Nuggets series as much as I should. Sportcenter highlights keep me up to date on them, but the Magic are a different story. :rock I'm hoping for the Magic advance. If they can stay on track and perform a little stronger in the first, I think they'll be alright. :angelsmil

But, best of luck to the Lakers (and Denver :monkey3) as well. (I have to be fair. :peace)

was it 2 years ago  i dont remember, but feels like a year ago, but still, thats prolly one of the better 4th quarter performances in NBA history, dont remember if that game went to OT or not though........

i predict they lose AGAIN tonight though...........Brown doesnt know what the hell he is doing out there, how is it that Wally is playing better than Sasha  hes not, again he makes no adjustments AT ALL! i have lost all confidence in this team

That "foul" on LeBron with .5 seconds left is why the NBA will always be :lol when it comes to sports officiating.

how wasnt that a foul? it doesnt matter if the trip was incidental with pietrus, its a foul cause he wasnt moving his feet quick enough, the offensive player will always get that call when there is any kind of trip, except kobe of course :lol

And then the non-foul on the other end on a play with MUCH more contact.

Gawd, the NBA is a joke. :lol
That was ^^^^ing stupid, the dude barrels into the defensive player and falls and they give him two free throws, Dwight Howard gets raped and he gets nothing. ^^^^ing LAME.

Explain the non-call (on anyone) on the other end, then?

Foul calls are ^^^^ing arbitrary 75% of the time. Even MLB's moving strike zones are more consistent. :lol
