:rotfl Tonight's game went to overtime (hell, if that dude with the mask knew how to make a lay-up, Orlando would have won in regulation!), and Orlando hasn't even had a home game yet. You people might be just a tad too optimistic, IMO.

i knew once he missed that, they didnt have a chance in hell. you dont get another chance like that again, especially in the finals. not suprised though, orlando just doesnt have it. i still say orlando loses in 5

It was a layup, but he was behind the backboard when he shot it w/ Pau's long arm making it even harder.. It had a chance.. But it wasn't a gimme..

idk.......i disagree, i mean if a player can get that ball on the backboard, its a type of layup one should be able to make a good percent of the time. hes an athletic guy and all, and he was high enough, i dont think gasol altered the shot at all, but catching a lob from half court and finishing was prolly the hardest part of it, but it was a layup with his strong hand i believe and they even said they have practiced that play before

Where are all the guys who were drooling over Dwight Howard in the Cavs series? C'mon, step up and defend your team, fellas!

I loved Dwight Howard in the Cavs series he kick the ^^^^ out of james....but they not stepping up.......And the fact that I'm a Lakers Fan might also be why I'm not backing them but I though it would be more of a war or fight this series but it looking more like a sweep, Hopefully The magic step it up in Orlando. Cause I want my team to fight for it it not just get it handed to them after all crap the Lakers been though these last 4 to 5 years it would be great to win a final Battle not a walk though series. but Kobe will be the finals MVP!!:banana

Hey Howard had a good game last night. He was something like 14pts,17rbs,4asst,4blk,4stl.

Last night was a great game. Had the Magic not had a stretch on going 0-6 from the line in the 3rd qrt(think it was the 3rd) and had the layup at the end have gone it would be a different story but it didnt. Lakers played good team D last night and Odom was a beast last night. I still see the series going 6 games.

I personally like JJ Reddick as a bench player, but I know Ron Jeremy, I mean Van Gundy, hates him, so I was pretty shocked to see him get so much playing late in the 4th even when Orlando didn't need 3s he was still in there. I think he was a bit of a liability at times especially considering you can tell Orlando players don't like to give him the ball.

Reddick isn't worth much honestly. He still loves himself too much from his Duke days. From all I've read the major reason his playing time is so up and down is due to his lack of effort to conform to how he needs to play in the NBA. If Nelson was 100% I don't think you'd see Reddick in there much.

Reddick hardly played the in the cleveland series at all, so now that nelson is back you'd think the minutes would be cut more...

again, i like reddick and think he could be a decent craig ehlo or steve kerr type, but you have to get him the ball while he's open which when nelson is not on the court, no one else on the magic seems capable of, though I don't follow them much.

I'd love to have Reddick as maybe the 8th or 9th man on the Nuggets bench. Thats not saying much, but I trust his 3 point shooting in the right situations. Probably find him 10-12 minutes a game. Especially if Kleiza leaves.

i think u give reddick way too much credit man, in the OT, he turned the ball over, missed a wide open 3, and never really looked for his shot. hes just not a very good player, Stan put him in there to look for some offense, but reddick wasnt aggressive at all. hes a descent shooter that can't handle the ball or create his own shot, he cant roll off of screens ala rip hamilton and make shots, and he doesnt play hard defense all the time. he is undersized at the 2 as well, so unless he turns into a 50% 3pt shooter consistently when he is open, hes just not going to get any minutes for a good team

i'm not giving reddick credit at all. I said he's a 8th or 9th man...thats not praise because stiffs are all over the league at that spot on the bench. Personally, I'd take him at the league min for 10 minutes off the bench especially over some of the guys on benches just because their size. I don't think OT in a Finals was the right place for him though.

I'm not excusing his inability to create a shot, but on the right team with the right point guard, I think he could be a 10 point guy off the bench (which isn't great but in the NBA would make you millions on millions)

I dont think I want to even bother watching the rest of this series. No one on the Magic has the focus of a champion, especially Howard.

Bad News: I have a feeling Orlando will win tonight... :monkey4

Good news: Lakers only need to take one game in Fla.

I guess nobody loves Howard when he is losing :huh

New Orleans still loves you, though :monkey3

I do last game was a very good allaround game for him. Game 2 was a close game that could have gone either way. I think the magic will come out strong at home tonight. Also Kobe looked to be on dead legs in the second half of game 2, perhaps the long season post and pre is catching up to him.

if the Magic win only one game tonight will be it.......i would like the Lakers to take tonight's game though - you know really break their hearts and make sure that Orlando still hasn't ever won a Finals game.....
