Perhaps you never looked at average scores of games in the 1960's and 70's? Often scores were 124 to 122. And even higher in the ABA - and that is alternative old school.
By old school I mean lots of pick and rolls, setting screens, moving without the ball, and hitting the open man. Thats pretty much the opposite of the "clear eveybody out of the way and see if I can dunk on this chump so the rubes get off their fat ***** and cheer" sort of basketball which has been around for the last fifteen years.

This Lakers Squad reminds me of Phil's Bulls teams in which everyone knew their role and did their job effectively.. I think we are going to roll right into the finals..

Also I think the Hornets will take out the Spurs in 5 or 6 games.. CP3 is the real deal..

I hope the Lakers roll to the finals, might have a bump or two on the road though.

The Hornets are making believers outta me and CP3 is an animal.

I really have no love or hate for the Lakers but damn it's hard not to root for the Hornets and CP3. That guy is just amazing.

Kobe's not gonna be named the MVP for nothing, he has elevated this team to contender status and as good as Chris Paul might be, he doesn't have that crunch time Playoff basketball experience under his belt, which counts for a lot.

I will give you that, not much playoff experience. Regardless of the kobe vs paul debate, it's going to be a great series if they play eachother

Nah Kobe would'nt guard Paul.. That would be up to Fish and Farmar, aside from a random switch on pick and rolls ect.... I've always respected KG as well but I don't want the Celtics to win.. They're fans are the enemy..

CP3 will get his points and assists.. But we fared pretty well against them in the reg season.. I think it will be our toughest series and maybe we might actually lose one game..

On a side note... Bynum is flying to Jersey for another opinion on his knee.. Could we have a surprise comeback?.. Phill is sneaky like that.. Either way We are solid w/ or w/o him.. He would help us tremendously on the boards however.. Our achilles heel..
