NECA: 1/4 Batman 1989 Michael Keaton figure

I just got mine this week.


A really awesome figure, but I have one issue with it:
The cowl isn't on perfectly, which I think, from checking this thread is a common problem, resulting in him appearing to be slightly cross-eyed from certain angles, when he really isn't.
On mine there is slightly more cheek skin showing below the left eye (the eyehole sits lower) and his right ear is protruding from the cowl more than the left.
Now I wonder, if I boil and pop the headsculpt, won't the cowl split at the seam (which appears to be glued together)? It would only require a minor adjustment to look perfect on mine.

Too bad his left eye turns in a bit. Otherwise I am very happy with figure. Next please do Nicholson and Romero Jokers.

Yes ! It's the stock cape... just take off the cape throw a towel over it an iron with steam till flat! Tah daaah!

Bummer. I shouldn't have kept blowing it off. But the QC issues scared me; lots of legs snapping off.

Same here. Just kept putting it off. I actually didn't realize it had been out for so long and took that for granted.

I would suggest just dipping the head in hot water and adjust the cowl. Don't risk anything that is hard to be repaired namely the cowl.
