A quick picture of mine with my new camera...

Yeah i thought of that, but when I was opening him I was checking if it had been opened already... I just hope they will return it since I opened it.

I RETURNED MY NECA BATMAN...
I am glad to see someone else had issues with him as well.

The moment I received my figure (purchased off eBay) the gloves/lower hand came detached below the elbow (cheap glue didn't hold him together) and the left thigh had a gap in it (it seriously looked like it was about to break off at any moment). For the price of this figure I couldn't see keeping him. I felt as if he was a cheap knockoff of a better version... The quality of the figure didn't even match the quality of the box he came in... EVERYTIME I looked at him, I just kept thinking of that Arnold Schwarzenegger Jingle All The Way scene where the Turboman fell apart in his hands... for this reason he was returned. It is sad, because he photographed beautifully and I was looking forward to the release of the penguin... but now I am thinking I will most likely pass on him

There have been bootlegs of various NECA figure lines on ebay. A few Terminator and Predator figures have fallen victim to reproductions.

Haven't heard of that with Batman though.

I highly doubt he was a bootleg... but then again I can't help but wonder why all my other NECA stuff (Nightmare Before Christmas mostly) is 10 - 20 years old and I have yet to have a single issue *knocks on wood...

I think what happens (and I am sure it happens with everything) is there are a few "defective" items in a lot and a seller STILL sells them as new... This can be an entire shipment/box being damaged... so I don't blame NECA for it, I blame the seller who sells it as "new" knowing it's defective.

I've owned this figure for over a year now and every time I walk past it I'm still like "wow!"

Pharooo... that defiantly makes me think my figure was defective :gah:

He looks REALLY great in this photo (with controlled lighting)... but in natural lighting he looked nothing like this... not to mention his bottom half looked entirely different than his top half lol

he's got almost 17,000 transactions with a 99.9 % approval; i'd say he was a safe bet but is this really going for 150.00 now?
