Is the head attachment the same I'm thinking about getting the new one but had my Keaton head repainted so would like to know.

I no longer remember what the attachment looked like on my original one.

The new one has a male neck peg with an X shaped tip and the female neck plug has the matching X shape.

I go to this thread and the HT and everytime I like the HT less and less. At this point, it looks like an anime interpretation of Keaton Batman to me.

Any fabric store should sell thin pleather but reach out to Tiny Mei on facebook to see if he's still making them, that's who made mine but that was a few years ago already.

Just be prepared to spend $35-$50 because of the 1/4 scale.

For me it was well worth it as you can see in the video.

Hot Toys can't even be posed so it looks good doing just one thing, standing straight, which is still fine because the source material also looked bad ass standing straight.

The PF is ok, nothing mind blowing.

The NECA gives me everything I want. Looks great standing straight, can be placed into dynamic poses and has decent likeness and impressive size.

That being said there is no way that I would've been able to acheive those poses with the first release as easily as I was able to do with this one.

I was gonna get the 7" one, but I need Catwoman more than Batman itself.
As I doubt Neca will ever release a 7" version of the Cat and, even if it does, the 7" one will never have the same level of detail the original 1/4 does, Imma get 1/4 Catwoman and, therefore, 1/4 Batman (this one) to go with it.

Maybe I'll get Mayor Penguin too.

I think you'll be happy with the updated Batman, I immediately noticed a difference with his head just by looking at him inside his box as soon as I pulled it out of the brown shipper.

Sell your first one if you have too but definately get him.

I'll be swapping heads cuz my Batman head got repainted but I could prob give the cowl an matte clear coat and should look ok.
