Yep Gloves too since they don't have that armor plate on top of them.

Yup the hands of the gloves too. On the '89 gloves, each hand has those metal grip studs, the Returns do not.

Shame the headsculpt on a $99 figure is better than Sideshows premium format. Plus two headsculpts to boot. Neca really delivered and then some on this. Can't wait to get her.

All I know is, if there is a 1/4 Batman there that isn't Returns, I'll be pissed. Like I'm okay if it's like an Arkham Joker or a villain from something else (unless it's Bane) or whatever but if it's Arkham City Batman, TDK Bale Batman, or Justice League Affleck instead, that will be a huge disappointment.

Then I think back to how they lied about Penguin not having fabric pants, or how they lied when they said they had "no plans" to rerelease the 1/4 1989, or how a 7" Batman was impossible or how they're not doing a 7" Muhammad Ali and I think maybe, just maybe they're lying to keep a Returns Batman underwraps.

I mean, I can't think of a more obvious quarter scale release from them. It's a no brainer. Their '89 was developed way back in 2012. They've done TWO Devito Penguins and Catwoman will be arriving in hand soon. Not only that but they love reusing parts and they already have that Keaton head underneath the mask, the belt is already sculpted and they have the tooling for atleast the grapple gun. Then you take into account that it's the 25th anniversary for Batman Returns and I just don't see how their next 1/4 DC release isn't Batman Returns Batman.

If it's another Bale, it'd better be a "chubby audition" version with him wearing the Batman & Robin batsuit.

But seriously, if they make a Returns Batman (Which I hope they do because their current 1/4th Batman looks a bit weird to me, and I personally just prefer the Returns suit), I'd really like for them to work on his physique a bit more. Their first Keaton figure looks pretty lanky to me.

What if, since NECA does concept figures, they did a Billy Dee Williams Two-Face? Like based on Tim Burton's sketches or descriptions?

I mean we're getting one from the Lego Batman movie.

My thoughts as well. I was very ready to PO the Premium Format from Sideshow but, I when it came to sitting down and attempting to Pre- Order it I couldn't justify almost $500 for my first PF to only be semi pleased with parts of it. I opted for the Returns Batman 2-pack. Granted Bruce Wayne's sculpt is nothing to write home about I am still very happy with the purchase. I think his sculpt references the scene at the end when his cowl is broken but, still I prefer to have Batman with his mask and Wayne posed separately.

With that said though, I am really looking forward to this 1/4 from NECA as well as Mayoral Penguin!

I will get the premium format at some point, but not at full retail. I myself couldn't justify spending$500 plus shipping on it. Headsculpt off too much for me. Not enough of Pfieffer there for me. To me, just another Catwoman pulled from a comic or the game. It's amazing, but just not as a Returns Catwoman for me.

Any accessories (besides the "Hell Here" sign I'm working on) that this thing might need? I'm itching to get more customs work done, it's been so fun! I feel like there isn't much besides the taser and her whip... and until I have the figure/whip in hand I won't know what I might need to do to improve it if it is indeed not very good.

Are any UK retailers retailers selling this or is eBay the best way to go?

I've been tempted to get the Hot Toys Batman Returns figure but with no Catwoman or Penguin to go with it would look pretty lonely on it's own. If NECA eventually do a Batman from Returns it would seem the best way to have some Keaton Batman in my collection.

I have the 1/6 Tweeterhead and the PF on pre-order. I would like to get this figure too. Was a huge fan of this role. I might get the Mayor Penguin too. I don't think the PF portrait is great either, but i am still going to give it a chance.
