At least they give us two sculpts. Hot Toys refuse to do that even when charging $150 more for a figure!

Yeah I can't argue that accept even with one head, you know it would be good and a day one pre-order if hot toys would make her.

I don't disagree with you on the neutral head sculpt... I think it looks bad. I am hoping it really is just a paint issue, but it's not great. However, the newer pictures of the "battle damaged" sculpt are, in my opinion, still fantastic.

Same sentiments. I'm a NECA fan but I'd call it if I see it. The regular head is not as good as the BD head, but I guess people are going easy with this figure given that it has 2 heads for its price. IMO NECA's likeness for the BD sculpt is very close to Pfeiffer's in this particular scene:

Probably, although you know if Hot Toys ever make this in 1/6 scale some people will complain about the sculpt however good it is. :lol Just look at the Harley Quinn thread. One sculpt won't please everyone, some will want a clean sculpt, others will want battle damaged. And as for neutral v expressive sculpt, that seems to split collectors down the middle to.

I do agree the clean sculpt on this figure isn't great but I'm lucky that I always planned to display her with the battle damaged head anyway so it makes little difference to me. If you want the clean version then yeah that might be an issue.

Still makes me wonder if they will eventually do an full blown Battle Damaged Catwoman would love to see that but til then I'll just get two and mod the secondone into full Battle Damage... Plan on getting both heads repainted that will make an big difference as well.

What's the cost of getting them repainted?

Depends who you go to.... Some artist charge an insane amount of $$ then others are reasonable.

That's some amazing paintwork, can't wait to see what he does on your figure if that's the way you go.

Not sure if there is anyone in the UK who does this. I wouldn't know where to start looking.

Awesome, love his work on that Catwoman custom. Good to know I could get an 89 Keaton and have him repaint it if NECA don't do a Returns version.
Thanks for the link. :duff
They'll do Returns but I'd still get the 89.

Oh crud, I didn't even see this. She's shipping soon, according to R̶a̶n̶d̶y̶'s NECA's Twitter.

Interesting how the damaged head is the one that comes on the body. I love the claw marks on the box.

Does this have a release date yet?
Hopefully it won't take months to get to Europe the way Hot Toys figures do.

The normal head looks awful. :(

I remember thinkining this looked terrible,

Then I cracked it open and it became one of my favorite 7" figures. We'll see if they ****ed this up, it's entirely possible. For now though, the small packaged, exposed shot of that head is all we have. None of their figures look good inside the tray (and the twist tie literally ruins them with the indentations).

Agreed.. Wish they would convert to foam inserts sorta like HT's DX styled boxes but that's wishful thinking.

I asked Randy when to expect her full gallery and he told me at the end of the month. So we'll see how she looks in the Gallery.
