Same here.... As long as the sculpt si good which they are. I like both headsculpts equally. Then the paint doesn't really bother me. Nothing an nice repaint can't fix if it really is that bad. Mattel's painting is far worse.

Remember Mattel's attempts at Burton Batman figures? Horrid paint. Oversized Penguin..... *shudders*

1/6 scale and $260

Thanks. Damn can't believe I missed that, judging by the time frame they were sold just before I started collecting :gah: Almost £300 on eBay now! Have to hope Hot Toys finally get round to doing this figure for another 1/6 alternative. It took them years to finally announce the Arkham Joker so there is always hope.

For $100 at quarter scale this figure is very impressive. One issue for me is there being no guarantee NECA will do the Batman Returns Keaton at this scale but if I get the Hot Toys Returns Batman they probably won't do a 1/6 Catwoman. :lol This hobby can be stressful.

Unless the NECA 1/4 has some serious QC issues, it's by far the best Pfeiffer Catwoman collectible produced to date as far as sculpt and value are concerned.

I'm amazed at how much better the sculpt is over a figure that costs nearly four times as much! And with that second sculpt, amazing work by NECA.

What do you want for a sub $100 figure. I give neca more of a forgiving review. If they were near $500 like hot toys 1:4, then deserve a much harder review and higher expectations. For the money, I am happy.

But I did give a forgiving "review" later, after that post, saying that I find the figure (especially its sculpt) to be fabulous and that the paint app on the eyes was just a nitpick. :dunno
And that wasn't even a proper review, as we don't have the figure in hands.
Was a simple observation of the picture we have as of now.

I am happy too. This is the best Pfeiffer Catwoman action figure ever made. The other two (Kenner/Mattel) are just horrible.

Can you imagine if Neca had the license to produce 6"-7" Batman/DC Movie figures? What we could have by now..... :thud:

Seriously, Mattel just sucks big time. Any of its figures. I can't believe how DC Comics can continue with them. Mattel must pay a lot of money to DC.

Yup.

Only a matter of time. There will be a 7" Pfeiffer Catwoman this year I bet. My Toys R Us just got flooded with new 7" Keaton Batman figures (that continue to be readily restocked without the home video promotion once they sell off the shelves).

Lets Hope we get 66 Robin, Mayor Penguin, and Catwoman this year in 7 inch made me mad that we got Harley instead of Robin last year...

I pray to God and Bob Kane you're right.

By the way, I recall you once post somewhere a comparison between the original and bootleg 7" Keaton Batman figures.

Could you repost it here? I'm about to buy it and I bet it will be useful for other users too, once 7" Cat is announced.
Thanks!

You mean under sized(weight wise) He like lost 100 lbs once he got through the china factory, but yeah he was as tall as Batman as well.

Maybe NECA will be able to snatch some licenses up if/when Mattel goes under?

BBTS has it for under retail right now. I'd grab one while you still have the chance, it's a great statue.

Appreciate it and if I lived there I'd grab one in a heartbeat. Trouble is I'd have to add on $70 shipping to get it here, and a likely hefty customs charge. :(

I assume there is no issue with an international licence, as there is with the Turtles, and if it's inline with the other Batman NECA figures it will be about £100 when it gets to UK retailers. Hard to not think that represents better value.

Better than SS premium format headsculpt imo.

Personally I won't say better (particularly if we're comparing the regular/clean head), but for almost $500 Sideshow's likeness should have been at least 90%, not 70 at its best angle. If it were done by Blitzway it surely would have been a great bang for the buck and probably would have been the best high-end Pfeiffer Catwoman figure.

I will own all three large pieces.
So far, Tweeterhead's gets my vote for best representation.
The portrait, pose, base are right on.

I saw some sites now have this listed for late February. Sigh....

Tweeter have the best likeness, but i wanted something huge, hence the Sideshow purchase. Got Neca too because ive always wanted a battle damaged Catwoman.
