Love the figure. Great sculpt and proportions.

Only thing I don't like are the hip joints (too afraid to move them, they're stiff as **** and the only joints that I tested that won't move), and the finish on the body and head are full of blemishes. I have a little cut gouge on my nose that I didn't even do.

Still bad as under the right lighting with shadows though. No complaints. My shoulder, elbow and knee joints also move perfectly.

Try some boiling water and let the figures hips soak it that for a couple minutes. I really haven't messed with bale that much either...

I tested it as I was buying the Alien Warrior. Definitely works on those figures.

I hope so. That'd make a nice dent in the Turtles $$$ outlay!

Since the stock figures eyes are the wrong colour, I decided to do some modding and add new eyes. I got some 2mm doll eyes and set them in apoxie. I used apoxie sculpt to take an impression of the existing eyes so I could make an exact replica of the originals. Getting the existing eyes out of the head was hard work and took me over an hour.

I also matte sprayed the figure and shortened the neck.

You generally know a lot about NECA product announcements and interviews. Have NECA mentioned doing a 1/4 of the Dark Knight suit?

Well that is somewhat lame. The thing would sell, so it doesn't seem like a good business move to avoid it just because you didn't care for it. Still, hoping they get to it sooner or later.

They never saids it was an no... Just not high on thier list.... THEY JUST came out with this figure... Give it atleast 3-5 years lol.... I could careless if they make that god awful suit....

I thought the Begins suit was the better of the two, but I always thought the Dark Knight suit was alright.

They are making more Batman versions than any other company currently, so I'd imagine he's a huge seller for them. I collect Batman more than any other character, so I would love to see all the movie suits made eventually.

That's a pity. I'm hoping it does get made eventually anyway. Seems silly to skip any of the movie suits with how well the 1/4 Batman figures have been selling.

Hopefully they change their minds on that eventually because Dark Knight Batman, Forever Batman, and Forever Robin are high on the list of figures I'd like to have. I'd personally love to get all the movie Batman suits including TAS from Mask of the Phantasm and all four Arkham versions from the line.
