Hopefully they change their minds on that eventually because Dark Knight Batman, Forever Batman, and Forever Robin are high on the list of figures I'd like to have. I'd personally love to get all the movie Batman suits including TAS from Mask of the Phantasm and all four Arkham versions from the line.

They will do them in due time. They have already said they wnat to do an Asylum Batman and Joker.

A note to people looking for a replacement for the stock cape, THIS ONE DOES NOT FIT. I've had a really crappy experience dealing with the seller that I would like to share. I'm not one for drama in a public forum, but I don't want others to have the same experience. I have a copy of my messages about this cape. I believe I have acted well within reason and have been poorly treated. Anyone who cares to take a look can decide for themselves.

First things first in the movie the cape goes over his neck then the cowl is put on. you can see this when he takes his cowl off....

Sorry mate, the custom cape Is most definitely movie accurate. Of course The cowl sits on top of the cape,
What gives you the idea it doesn't?
I'm pretty sure with a bit of futzing you can get it how you want it without having to modify it.
Can guarantee it'll look better than the stock version!

I got a Jaxon cape for my batman returns figure & I was really impressed with it & his service.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll defer to you on the order the cape and cowl attach. To me it looked odd. It really does it no favours that this cape is very thin so the shape of the shoulders shoes through as quite lumpy where the joints are. It looks and feels cheap, and for the third of the price of what the figure cost I expected more.

My main beef is the attitude that if there is something I saw as an issue I could go fix it myself. End of conversation. Silent treatment. I had a very nice discussion with Jaxon prior to purchase, when I was unhappy he changed his attitude.

I think the stock cape looks much better than the custom I got. I'll probably do my own down the line if I find some good material.

I can't comment either way on the quality of accuracy of the cape or how it should be put on but I get you about the no responses. No excuse for that sort of thing and usually just inflames a situation that can be easily resolved with a more mutually happy outcome for both

Re: Neca 1/4 scale batman begins batman

Not to add fuel to the fire and my apologies for quoting my posts from 2 months ago, but yes, THE CAPE GOES OVER THE COWL. Being used to the usual cape-under-the-cowl makes me understand why most people think it does the same on the Begins suit though.

It can certainly look deceiving as the "collar " of the cape is so neat it can look as if it's tucked under the cowl, most people only realized during the discussion at the EB Batman thread years ago. It helps even out the proportions by making the head look smaller. I noticed that the cowl can make the head look big on NECA and EB, just as it was with the real prop.

Like I said earlier, it's deceiving. The "collar" of the cape is neatly done it can appear as if it's tucked under the cowl. As for the back -- THE CAPE TAPERS IN V-SHAPE (which Enterbay got right, not sure with NECA)hence the effect that it's tucked because we can see the pointed backside of the cowl. If you have a copy of the film, check out his unmasking scene after he puts Rachel to sleep. It can be seen that the bottom of the cowl's back is being pulled off from under the cape.

But hey, have it your way guys. :wave

I can confirm. Watched the movie recently and specifically looked for this. The cape has a 'V' shaped hole coming down behind the neck, so the cowl can appear to be on top. However, the cape is actually placed over top of the cowl.

Tony told me he wasn't making any Begins 1/4 capes and this was an month ago...

Went over to Toys r Us today for some baby supplies and walked by this beast. Checked in on this thread to make sure it was a good call. Will definitely be hitting the airbrush and hunting down a cape - if I can but this does the trick as I am Nolan-less and also awaiting the HT BvS line as well as my HT Keaton.

Guys, I have a Begins figure from NECA but it got a shiny scuff mark on the chest because it fell from an unstable pose. Do any of you know a way of covering up this paint defect (because it looks really glossy now)? E.g. clear matte coating or sth?

I just purchased one of these, couldn't resist for such a low price. Can anyone recommend a suitable stand ideally available in the UK?

Saw one on eBay for $70 with 10% off last month...turns out to be a scammer. :( Alas, it was too good to be true...

I absolutely love what Neca has done with their quarter scale Batman figures.
