It's so lifelike that I can almost smell him.

Are those real bootlaces I wonder?

Glad I pre ordered, looks great. At 15" tall I think he will still look ok with 1/6 scale figures. If you display him on a single shelf on the detolf that will look even better.

Their 24" quarter scale Hulk is going to be an estimated $300.

I was thinking about having a cloth bodysuit made for him but the sculpt is so nice that I'm not sure if I'll have to.

No umbrella a disappointment, but still happy to get him. They are trying to keep the price affordable I think, and maybe the umbrella would have increased price. Still, for 99.00 it will be a great addition, especially since I got him Preordered for 79.98 shipped!:yess:

where are you people getting these things for 80

affordable, articulated, nice size, fairly close sculpts and paint for the price, fabrics, led light up functions on some pieces..this will be the future for figures, as opposed to the higher end statues which in my opinion will become nothing more than expensive paper weights..there are already 1/4 neca grail pieces..and some that will be very soon..i probably would not miss out on the stuff that's been released of late.

i really like this post, i just recently decided to start collecting and for years I have always looked at sideshow/hot toys and really nice but extremely overpriced. They are glorified toys that arent worth the hundreds of dollars they charge. Ive seen people try and justify it by saying its licensing expenses, which makes me laugh. Really glad i found NECA and will probably be only buying from them. Very close to accurate and at a reasonable price.

If people keep buying the overpriced figures and statues from other retailers, the prices are just going to continue to get higher and higher (although from my personal experience, people have no self control so i dont see that happening).

Once you experience opening your first hot toys you will change your mind. These figures are incredible in hand it doesn't hold a candle to NECA although I do love NECA and have been buying their figures for years. Hot toys are THAT good, plus I like 1/6 and the real deal tailoring, paint, accesories, packaging. The list goes on worth every dime.

I agree and sort of disagree....only some figures ....Don't get me wrong I love HT but sometimes I feel like they're overpriced. Now I know the amount of detail they have, but still ....this necas looks just as good as some high end figures and for a fraction of the price
