True, I see what you mean, but I don't think paint not matching is a problem for some poses.

There it looks like the netting is in 5 pieces (Torso, right arm and both legs). But looking at it, I think the cut joints on the thighs might actually be emphasized if the paint doesn't match, given the large holes in the netting.

Yeah, the netting isnt really going to cover the cut joints.
I originally thought that NECA would use elastic-like straps to hold the thigh Armour in place like HTs did with their classic Predator...but im guessing that wouldnt be movie accurate?
It wouldve covered the cut joints perfectly though.

The other thing is, I wont be displaying him in a pose that requires the joints to be turned. So I am not worried.

not worried about the cut joints in the thigh. Looks fine in every pics I've seen, standing, crouching, whatever. As long as the paint apps are good I'm psyched to get this.

Im betting it'll be a closed mouth battle damaged version with green splatters on leg, chest, and face.

Dude, you're not getting a jugle base...NECA doesn't do bases.

And they've stated quite clearly before that they're not really interested in doing them.

The "cloaked/transparent" thing just never impressed me.

Now, if NECA would release that "woodland cloaked" Berserker (or even a PREDATOR version)...then I would be all over it.

Well supposedly the SDCC ex this year is going to be a 7" Guardian Predator on a P1 Body. Or maybe it was 19", but I think it is 7"

They've said so.

One for the P2 line, and one version of the "concept version" predator 1. Early in production of p1 the predator had the guardian biomask as it was designed to look like a mechanized version of the predator's face, but the producers or whomever decided that it would give away the look of the creature's face to early in the film so they went with the more simple biomask that is in the final cut.
