Looks like I'll get a replacement for the open mouth I received when I ordered the closed mouth. They seem to have good customer service. Just received this from Steve at Legends Action Figures:

He even did quills on the upper arms and chest. Very cool. You look at that and think it can't possibly be a NECA figure....but it is!

I must be the last one to this party, but my Predators have finally arrived! Opened the open mouth version. Pretty impressed. I'll store the other two until I figure out what I want to do with them. The masked version looks much better in person. So far the closed mouth is my least favorite.

Some bad paint and broken netting, but nothing too noticeable or upsetting. You could do a lot worse for $200, that's for sure.

FINALLY got my closed mouth from TRU yesterday. Very impressive, and well worth the $81 (shipped), but they should take 1/4 scale off the box. It's far from it. I'll have to take a pic of it next to my Jason Voorhees PF 1/4 scale. I'll put it this way, if the Pred IS 1/4 scale, that would put Jason at about 8 1/2 foot and 500+ lbs.

But, this fig is very "customizer" friendly. Very easy to disassemble it for mods and what-not. Need to get to feeling better so I can finish my HT custom and move on to this guy.

I must be the last one to this party, but my Predators have finally arrived!

Just got mine yesterday, I didn't mind waiting but now that I have them....they're a vision. You can't not look at them. To be honest all the photos (amazing customs aside) are a bit samey, seen one you've seen them all because the posing is limited, but its still more than worth having in person. The sculpt is just ____ing amazing. It demanded a decent paintjob which they couldn't do at 8" but NECA have certainly delivered with this bigger figure.

P2 must happen at this scale. Theres just no way the paint on the 8" will be as good as it needs to be.

Feel the same way. I was going to snap a few photos when they arrived, but I honestly wouldn't be contributing anything that isn't already here. They must be seen in hand to truly appreciate.

Yup, and i like how it completely hides the joints, you can't even tell it's an articulated figure with all the joints hidden like that.
