So what's the final verdict on this?

This is the one from years back correct? If so I have this and its a great 1/4" piece among my 1/6 & 7inch. I have this and unmask P1.

TNX for the upload. My two cents say you get one of the best P2 sculpts for quite reasonable price tag...

With the above said, I'm still looking for a Taylerdurdem-level custom mask for the 1/4 City Hunter. Dano, mate, did you end up making some? If not, anyone else? This figure deserves a better mask.

I'm reworking the one I did a couple of years ago for the original release. Was never completely happy with it, which is why I never ended up following through with selling copies.

That's good news, mate. What stage are you in right now and do you mind sharing pics? What part were/are you unhappy with? If I'm not mistaken I PM'd you about the mask a year or so ago. Either way, I'm interested.

It's close to done. Overall shape is there, but it needs lots of little tweaks and refinements. Need to work a bit on the temple areas, and the lip of the lens area. As far as what I'm changing, it's mostly just tweaking proportions, and cleaning up stuff I didn't do so well on the first one. Back then I had less experience in sculpting, and I've also acquired better tools that I can get better results with. Still pretty rough looking. The phone cam also doesn't really capture it properly. When it's done I'll pull out the DSLR and get good pics to better show the proportions.

Looks very promising. What reference material(s) are you using? Any ETA of completion?

Using various pictures from the movie and set. I know the mask varies from picture to picture, because there were so many different helmets used, but I think I said before that I'm shooting for a happy medium between all of the scenes in the movie. I'll probably put the little indentations on the brow that the hero helmet had before I'm done. I'm not a fan of it, but it'll be easier to include it, and then just cover it on later castings if someone wants it without.

Not sure on ETA. Just working on it whenever I get the time and am feeling in the mood.

Picked up the new CH Predator yesterday. I love it. The paint on it is a lot better than the first figure. Thats what sold me on picking it up. That and it was only $80.

1/4 Elder, new in box, probably for sale. Its been out if its box for less than 5 minutes for a quick inspection; never removed from the tray with all twist-ties still on from factory. No net rips. No googly eyes. PM bid if interested.
