Oh well.... Still can't deny that 1990 Shredder is bad ass...

Sorry, I wasn't being sarcastic. I know I mixed my tones by calling it a garbage bag (cause that's what it looks like) but Shredder absolutely looks badass in the first film, especially with that cape!

BTW for anybody who is bothered by plastic mascs on faces not matching fabric tales on the back - they don't match in the movie, too :rotfl

i must have them. will gift away all playmates versions. will try to find a place for these giants.
funny thing will be if they turn out unavailable outside USA or will cost $200 each. i'd pay that for 1/6 movie turtles even with Neca quality - just for the sculpt, but 1/4...

As cool as these look guys I think I will have to wait and see one in person before committing to the full line. Price isnt really the issue for me with these since if I indeed like them then I will find a way to get the money. Its more of that when it comes to neca more than any other company with me its their paint apps and final production models that tend to let me down.

As an international customer I would be paying a pretty penny as they say for even one of these huge turtles, but when you add shipping on top of that they are gonna be a massive investment for me. And what if I open it up and the face is all screwed up thanks to lousy paint applications ?

I just cannot risk it with these. Gonna wait until Donnie shows up locally and pay the mark up for the shipping and see how he looks in hand. If I love him, I will take the leap and pre order maybe Leonardo and go form there.

yep, i'm waiting for actual product photos, too. i was terribly disappointed with their 1/4 P1 difference between hand-painted display item and selling figure. and these creatures really need proper painting, otherwise they will look cheap.

Yeah I do agree on that but getting them anyways to get repainted and the articulation pin holes covered up...

Not surprised by that. 1:4 scalers from NECA don't tend to be the most packed releases.

Yeah not an deal breaker by any means since Raph is pretty much flawless as it is... I'll prob see if I can get an custom trench coat made for him and cloth cat we'll see.

I just thought there might have been a chance since Pengin had an cloth coat.

They'll probably do that as a separate version after these prove to be successful. NECA are big on that strategy of incremental improvements. Always hold something back as an excuse to get more money out of people later. I fall for it every time :lol
