Thanks. It'd be a shame if the foot soldier and Shredder didn't get the same treatment as well. Might get an order in and get it shipped over using one of those proxy services. Cheers.
They said in an article that they will be shrunk down. Question is when. Not if.

Cool. Going to get my order in tonight and use one of those proxy companies that ship it to you from their warehouse. Being in the UK I hope it's not too expensive. Considering the SDCC sets are going for 200-300 and then with import charges on top I'm sure this option will be a lot more cost effective.

I've got to get these as I absolutely love the first movie. I love the tone of it and some of the moments they kept from the Eastman and Laird books. Great stuff.

Surely a Casey Jones must be on the way? Wouldn't be surprised if that was announced soon for 1/4 scale.

Just bought an 50mm prime lend. Took a couple shots.

Depends do you have an dslr? That makes a big difference right there.

No I don't. I have a decent quality digital Panasonic but it's not a DSLR. I probably wouldn't drop the money on one until I'm a bit better at general photography. I don't know much about lighting or using backdrops or how to get the best results really. I've been a collector for a good while but I've never really photographed figures until recently.
Seeing shots like yours make me want to learn more though.

A 1990 movie Shredder helmet has been on my collectible wishlist for a very long time. I don't know if anyone has successfully tackled making one (aside from dedicated cosplayers making one for themselves), so I'm gonna campaign for NECA to tackle it as their next TMNT prop.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they considered that when working on the 1/4 scale figure, if they sculpt it in a computer they can scale it for multiple sizes.

They always sculpt by hand....

I have a handmade helmet that I have worn for cosplay/Halloween and I LOVE it! It would be nice to have a more “official” one, though ;).

I didn’t know you before, but you just got a hell of a lot cooler! That’s incredible! Great work!

Gee, thank you! I’ve seen you on the BTAS figure forum. If you’re a Batman fan as well then you might also appreciate this BTAS-inspired Scarecrow costume I made a few years ago:

Oh my! That’s really, really cool! You should post those in the BTAS thread so those other members can enjoy too.

Gamestop has 30% off of $100 or more of in stock collectibles right now. They've only got the 1/4 Raph, Casey Jones mask and mutagen canister in, but they're there if you're interested. I had already got the mask from BBTS, but picked up the mutagen canister for $35+tax.
