man, maybe I'm the only one.. but these new Aliens figures look really great to me, even Ripley (likeness isn't perfect yes, but I can tell it's her and both figures look nice to me). lol maybe I just have lower standards because I grew up with 70's & 80's toys, but compare these to anything on the shelf in the same price range and I'm willing to bet the other stuff doesn't have near the level of detail that these do.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting the set!

I noticed in this review there is a little plastic "clip" or something to attach to the stand. In Pixel Dan's review he didn't have this piece. Glad to see that the figure doesn't have to just rest on the end of the metal rod. That had me a bit worried that it might dig into the plastic and/or scratch the paint.

You're right. They made him look pretty.

It may look better in hand, but the paint apps really detract from the headsculpt. And the knife appears to be very crude, as if it were carved from flint.
