New queen looks great however these pictures are also making me think save my $130 as I have the Mcfarlane version which already captures the essence of the Alien Queen.

100% agree it is outdate but that is a given it is old. I have two McFarlane Queens (one displayed one in the box) back in the $39.99 days!! But still if anyone see’s it they still would say Queen Alien.

Would love the new one. Im just debating where the $130 should go (save for a future HT purchase, SS R2-D2 or this). Seems like I am making a lot $$$ decisions with my collecting of late.

OH Canada! My home and native land.....

I just purchase Series 2 Planet of the apes last week $25 each. For three with tax it was about $80 mother ****er ****s getting way too expensive!!!

I can agree with that, it's getting bad. Tons of stuff is coming out and new company's are poppin up. It's hard for me to remember that not everyone is a alien freak. Alien stuff is before everything for me

The bounty available now is a blessing and a curse! There is more quality Alien/Aliens stuff out now than ever before. Its almost surreal really. 5 years ago I could never have imagined having what is now available.

Aliens is above all else for me as well. All other hobbies have been dropping off lately. My brother has gone so far as to say I need to diversify my props and figure collection in order to avoid coming across as obsessive, but so what?! Wont stop till I have it "all".

Don't diversify! That is an even darker path. There is no limit to what would make your collection more 'diverse'. At least if you stick with Aliens there is some conceivable breaks or even an end to your collecting.

I'm right there with you guys. I'm trying very hard to stick to the idea of "quality over quantity", but NECA is making it very difficult.
I've convinced myself that my Sideshow Queen Diorama is enough.....but the possible poses for NECA's Queen .....ugh. Decisions, decisions.


P.S. Do NOT diversify. That is a blackhole from which there is no escape.

If you're a serious Alien fan, you need to pick up the NECA Queen. Unless there are QC issues galore. Even then...well, maybe.

Hate to say but it didn't matter , even with a bad review I would be sold. But no bad news so far.

Talked to a rep from Entertainment Earth today and he told me the Queen could be in-stock any day now. The January 2015 date is just a placeholder from NECA. $89.99 shipped is about the best deal around.

The dog alien seems like it wont be able to position him in a running pose like it was in the movies. It seems like the head does not lean back enough to make him walk on all four. The figure looks more like sitting than running. Oh well I'm still going to get the queen which looks amazing
