Oh no I hate the designs after 3 haha. The dinosaurs I mean *cough aliens in avp got on my nerves. I mean they really did make puppy noises talking to the queen. And ressurrection turned them into a animal. Where they had a intelligence in previous versions. I wouldn't take them given to me lol. After alien3 the 1/4 aliens and 1/4 led predators I dunno what's next for me. They will have to pull me in with something.

My left leg was loose too. If you make a little ball put of hot glue and let it dry a little , then wedge it in the gap it will hold the joint up [emoji12]On mine her left lower leg is also loose! lol

That's why it was cut from the original cut...their numbers were massive they had hundreds and probably lost 30. They are a hive mentality just like a bree sacrifices himself for the colony. They weren't killing themselves they were testing. And had plenty more to go. And considering there were only 2 survivors in the end I think their plan worked. The rest of the films they became animals and stupid....by killing themselves? It would have take just a few to test they weren't going to be able to go past the guns. Yup, they eventually found a way in, but lost too many of their numbers just by ramming into stuff and guns. Not bashing Aliens, I love it, but I think it's unfair to pick every little detail of the films that followed and then try to rationalize all the "issues" in Aliens
And what we are discussing is their intelligence. The fact that they figured out that the sentry guns ran out of ammo and that they couldn't make it past the pressure door was the sacrifice. This showed them they need another way. So cutting the power and out thinking the humans is what they did. That is intelligence. Yeah uh but the one didn't sacrifice itself...it tried to fight back. If it was a hive mentality it would have attacked itself.seemed like they were thinking when they were locked up and destroyed one of their own to let the acid blood melt through the cell - just sayin!
The blast doors are blast doors. If you watch and see how thick they are they would need to have gravity to pour acid on them...in ressurrection they attacked one of their own and it didn't want to die. Sure they got out. But the rest of the film all they did was hang out and kill people. Alien ressurrection was a comedy and began the raptor like alien without the intelligence... That bled over to avp. And made the alien more like a monster vs a supreme being.
