NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Loving that new Warrior.

Hopefully the finished product is better quality than the previous warrior. I bought two warriors from Neca and both were poorly painted, the laquer came off the figures after touch or a tail bend, plus the joints got ultra loose after few movements - cheap crap to be honest. Plus I don't believe in any Neca's pictures of their stuff until I see a real figure in some collector's hands.

I'm really liking these Colonial Marines and I do think they will turn out great! NECA has been stepping their game up IMO. Great articulation and detail on a lot of their releases in 2012.

However there are some quality control issues, I've had several of their figures come with stuck joints and with some paint mishaps. I'm hoping there are no wide-spread issues with these figures.

Whether or not I buy multiples of each is 100% dependent on inclusion of Helmets! I can't say I would support a "2nd series re-release that include helmets" plan. I would be quite put out in fact.


...but then I'd cave and buy multiples of the ones WITH the helmets (mostly for customizing).

Neca are going to take so much money from me next year at this rate. Wasn't planning on getting any Aliens figures but they've really nailed these guys.

I only hope they one day convince Weaver to see the light.

If Neca has any interest in that upcoming game, they could apease Dog Alien fans with a long-requested figure whilst dodging Alien 3 altogether. Win win.

@Lord Freezer, as a kid I had a cheap plastic dinosaur they looks like this Pred dog. I hope Neca make a non articulated, smaller Version for the Predators pack(with new paintjobs and the falcon).

The alien design have many big, smooth parts.
And on this parts you can see the joints and cuts.

Apart from this, the ellbows are too long(it must more integrated in the upper arm).
