They weren't brown. They were 80s era US Military jungles boots (or specifically, a few indicators show them as knockoffs of US army boots). Olive Drab Green, Vabrim sole pattern.

Why they continue to make them brown is mind boggling. There is literally no reason to do it. NONE. They didnt "look brown" on screen and they weren't that dirty. It makes no sense.


***Side note: Vasquez, Dietrich, Gorman and the flight crew were black leather boots. Not the jungles the male ground pounders wore.

I knew you would know exactly what they were and what era - you are the MAN!

That's what I was thinking they'd be good for too. I know they teased a skinned body for a Predator pack a while ago, so why not do a chest bursting human figure for an Aliens pack down the road ? I know a lot of fans seem to hate action features in their figures but I thought it would be a pretty cool idea and a unique feature in the line.

They could make a "victim" pack with a generic human figure and an open egg. The figure could come with a swappable torso and head piece like the new Terminator Genisys T-1000 has. One torso / head could be slime covered torso with a face hugger attached to the head and the other torso / head could be a bloodied torso with a chestburster coming out and the head with an appropriate expression. That would be awesome for dioramas.

Any idea about how international costumers will be able to buy newt? It is a sscc exclusive but neca says that. During the convention it will be available also online...where? And how many fugures they will sell? Thanks!

There are probably fewer Frosts in the box than the other two. When they make up sets, the heavy weighted characters have extras which then have to be sold off separately. There's a good chance there won't be any Frosts sold individually.

A fair point. A "Case" is being listed as 14 figures. In no way can a 3 figure set be packed equally.

Probably 3 "sets" with 5 extra Vaz's (may be a bit extreme, but I can imagine the demand justifies it).
Worst case 4 "sets" with only 2 extra Vaz's.
