NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Kinda wish I'd collected all my Aliens/Predators and Terminators MOC aswell. They look so nice in the boxes. Too late now.

I always bought extras to keep MOC of my favorite figures like Pescadero T-800, the Hospital T-1000, The T1 endoskeleton (which is going for big bucks) and the Tech Noir and of course, the SDCC Liquid Metal chome T-1000.

Those slim clamshells with the poster art were always cool to me. I mean, I wasn't about to buy MOC of every figure, but the "main" ones had to be left on card because of how cool they looked as a piece.

Actually it IS possible to fit the Queen and Powerloader into a single square. It takes patience but it is doable. And the pose isn't too bad, either:

So, NECA announces they are doing Vasquez and what do I do? I buy Hicks, Hudson, Ripley, Bishop, another marine to turn him into Apone, the power loader and now the vehicles. Despite all the Aliens stuff I already have...

I see no problem with that - lol. I initially passed on the line but once they announced the Queen and power loader that was what triggered me to jump in. Now I have almost everything with the exception of the Kenner Alien/Predator 2 pack which I'm not really interested in. It was a lot of fun buying all these figures and time consuming since I looked for great deals.

Well, it isn't really. It is 3 seperate figures. You should be able to find her solo 'out in the wild'.

So far no one has offered her singly for pre-order yet though. My suspicion is they think most people only want the Vaz, so they want to piggy back her popularity into forcing people into buying all 3.

Nice! What did you do for the cigar? If you want I can hook you up with a power coupling for his harness and a makeshift set of binoculars(you'd just have to paint the binoculars if I find an extra set) free of charge, I'll throw em in the mail, just PM me your address. Thanks man! I'll PM you my address. For the cigar, I used some putty, rolled it to the cigar shape, waited for it to dry, sanded it down to the right size, and then painted it.

I was thinking they were jungle boots similar to Viet Nam era and green but I'm not quite sure.

Oh be cool to the man. Ricco is a great guy and I'm sure he has been fairly compensated.

They weren't brown. They were 80s era US Military jungles boots (or specifically, a few indicators show them as knockoffs of US army boots). Olive Drab Green, Vabrim sole pattern.



Why they continue to make them brown is mind boggling. There is literally no reason to do it. NONE. They didnt "look brown" on screen and they weren't that dirty. It makes no sense.


***Side note: Vasquez, Dietrich, Gorman and the flight crew were black leather boots. Not the jungles the male ground pounders wore.
