Unknown. I have been researching that date (5/23) and it doesn't seem to correlate to RoboCop2 or any of the other more popular franchises that I can tell.

MaulFan over in the Terminator thread found that 5/23/84 was the release date for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I don't know if a 1/10 scale Indiana Jones license is even available but if NECA has acquired it that would be epic.

Didn't the Hasbro Indy figures from around when KOTCS came out tank at retail? I'm not sure NECA would take that on.

Poooosssibly.

The bottom fins are diecast, but the the top fins are not. I tried the heat trick to fix the whacky flat top ones, but the problem is the heat causes the glue to let go! Applying pressure to them when hot caused them to lift up off of the tail itself.

What little progress i made by trying to straighten them was quickly undone as they cooled. They want to go back to their regular position.

Maybe if you just commit to taking them off and super heating them, you may have more luck. When I realized the top assembly was coming up I quit applying heat.

This is good news! With them being plastic, they can be most certainly fixed. Thanks for the info bigbisont.

In a fairly recent post, Randy actually referred to Matthews as "unreachable" or "Can't be reached" (one of those two phrases). He is a man who appreciates his solitude and is on record as having moved at least once to escape public recognition. They never directly said he declined. In fact in 2006 or 07, he was directly quoted as being totally open to a figure so long as "looks like him" (a shot at the hot toys figure) and he "gets paid" but it seems in his older age he has retired away from the limelight and is not an easy man to find.

Also how do you mean 'questionable'? Not worth the hassle or you have a better plan? If the better plan is not doing a Dietrich, then I must respectfully disagree, sir! One way or another, she is needed.

Mine would be an older acid damaged Hicks or maybe even a Bull Alien concept from Alien 3 that was then dropped for the Dog Alien.

There wasn't a bull design that was dropped. The design you see on film is is original. The dog birth scene was shoe horned in there when fincher left. So technically...the one you see on film is the ox alien. Giger had early designs but those were no ox alien.

While a concept marine would be cool and an instant buy, Randy also called it something of a "what if" item. So that doesnt fit.

Also, there is a backlog of humans already. They need more unique creatures to fluff out their waves. It will be some type of creature I am sure.
