NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

It's ok my 1/4 Big Chap legs are warped and NECA could care less.

They were like just use a blow dryer and leave us alone we don't replace 1/4 figures.

I owned the original 2009 1/4 Big Chap at one point and the legs never snapped in properly... Used a blow dryer, soaked the joints in hot water, everything... and they still wouldn't budge. Beautiful figure otherwise.

They look pretty good, just don't know what happened to Vickers / Theron's likeness , thought they nailed it before production - now any resemblance is practically gone imo

Very happy NECA stuck with the Clamshell packaging. I was worried they go for the box style. I keep all my Prometheus MOC (no need to open these) and was hopping the packing would look the same as the first two waves!!!

I'm kind of pissed that they did not give Shaw that red hue in her hair like she has in most of the shots from the film. It really made her stand out more but I guess replicating that in figure form would be difficult. Still, I want my Shaw and Vickers so that is that I guess.

I am afraid like a few here too I am getting tired of the constant flaws and half arsed sculpted and painted figures coming from the company. At this stage I am thinking getting the Queen and the Prometheus wave and then on just get the odd single figure here and there. Outside of the mentioned figures plus of coarse my most wanted Alien 3 creature pack I cannot think of anything I would really NEED for my collection.

Its tough. I say this and then NECA will reveal a cool line up at NY or SDCC and then I fall back into it. So who knows.

Somehow in the production they have lost the resemblance in vickers and shaw. Very odd. I want to get them because i have all the rest but these are a step down.

Fair play to NECA for going ahead and releasing those. Alas I skipped the other ones and so will not be buying them.

a-dev, mate, post some pics of your A/P collections. If the setups are anywhere near your Terminator stuff, it'd be a cardinal sin not to share them for viewing pleasure/drool.

I've often taken pics with the intention of posting them but in the end my displays never photograph well. Some shelves and set-ups are better than others but even the ones I think are cool and inventive turn out kind of messy and ugly in photographs - especially if the only way to properly see everything is by using flash. Nothing wipes out cinematic atmosphere like flash in the way it truly reveals 'oh, its just toys on a toy shelf'

I changed some stuff around the other night and right now my display room has truly never looked better - as hodgepodge and improvised as it is - maybe I'll give pics another try.

I know what you're saying. Yeah, please do. And if you're using a decent camera, or phone with a good camera, try shooting without flash while adjusting the ISO and shutter speed. Makes a world's difference. Godspeed, either way.

Probably pretty safe to assume the blue & brown warriors will be re-released together and occupy a slot series 12 just like the red/black warriors filled one slot and the brown/silver dogs filled one slot in previous waves.

I still expect them to invert the battle damage colors at some point (brown w/exploding head, blue with body bullet damage).

However, I sincerely hope neither scenario are the special '2-pack' they recently hinted at.

I wouldn't mind a 2 pack featuring the blue/brown warriors, but I'd rather it not take the spot of that "special" one. That'd be pretty lame.

Since i prepaid for this wave back in February through the Neca Alien club i'm glad that these seem to be getting close to release. I'm guessing the move of Alien Covenant up a few months bogged things down a bit? I'll be keeping the Lambert and defiance alien but the powder blue alien has got to go - i don't care for it in the least!

Got myself the newest release of the Alien Queen today. Sumbitch is bigger than my cat!! Any tips to getting the six fins in? The ball joints on all but one dont want to fully pop in.
